NTA had conducted NEET 2019 exam on May 5, 2019, in offline mode in a single slot from 2 pm to 5 pm. More than 1.5 million medical aspirants appeared for the exam which had a total of 180 questions. NEET 2019 Question Paper: The pattern

NEET 2019 question paper was divided into three sections – Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Candidates were allowed to attempt the sections in any order or sequence. As NEET 2019 exam was held in pen and paper mode, candidates were allowed to carry test papers home. Advantages of referring to NEET 2019 Question Papers and Solutions

Candidates must practice NEET previous years’ question papers and refer to the solutions after completing the syllabus. Some of the advantages of solving the NEET question paper 2019 are as follows:

NEET 2019 Question Paper: How to calculate marks secured after solving the paper?

In order to calculate the overall marks scored by a candidate after solving the NEET question paper 2019, use the following guidelines:

  • Count the total number of answers that are correct x 4

  • Count total numbers of answers that are incorrect x 1

  • Now use the following formula to calculate your marks

Marks scored = (Total no. of correct answers*4) - (Total no. of Incorrect answers)

NEET 2019 question paper: The difficulty level

Overall 'difficulty level' of NEET 2019 question papers was moderate. It means some questions were tough while some were easy in each section of the NEET 2019 question paper. Due to the moderate level, some questions took less time to answer while some questions were very time-consuming. Candidates couldn’t take much time to solve the problems and they could utilise the time to revise the NEET 2019 question paper later on. Among the three sections of the NEET 2019 question paper, Physics was the most difficult one. Biology and Chemistry were at par in terms of difficulty level. As per the Resonance Team, questions worth 452 marks were overall easy, 200 marks were of moderate level and 68 marks were considered difficult. In Physics, most of the questions were based on extensive calculations while some were concept-based. The chemistry section was easy in comparison to the previous term. Numericals were based on formulas and equations. The questions asked in the Zoology section were much easier than the Botany part. Maximum questions were from the Botany section in NEET 2019 question paper.

You cannot get admission into MBBS course at any Medical College without clearing the NEET Entrance Exam. Even for admission in Private Medical Colleges you need atleast 150 marks out of 720 in NEET. However you can join MBBS directly if you go abroad.

Yes, NEET is mandatory for entry into MBBS, BDS, and other similar medical courses offered at Baba Farid University of Health Sciences. However, for other courses such as BSc Nursing or BPT, NEET is not a requirement. Make sure you satisfy all the course-specific eligibility criteria.
