NEET 2024 Admit Card (Released): Download Hall Ticket @neet.nta.nic.in

The NEET admit card had to be downloaded online from the official website of the NEET 2024. The details or the information to be entered are given below:

• NEET 2024 application number
• Date of Birth
• Security Code or Captcha

In case candidates forget the credentials or the NEET 2024 application number or password, they will have to click on the Forgot Application Number or Forgot Password tab and retrieve the details. 

The NEET 2025 admit card is likely to be released by the National Testing Agency (NTA), in the first week of May 2024, approximately three to four days before the exam date. Although the date of the exam has not been announced yet, it is likely that NEET 2025 will be held in the first week of May 2025. Accordingly, the NEET admit card 2025 will be released either in the fourth week of April 2025 or the first week of May 2025. 

Prior to the release of the NEET admit card, NTA releases the advance intimation of exam city slip. The document mentions the city of the NEET exam centre allotted to candidates. Generally, NTA does not release the NEET admit card release date in advance. Candidates will have to log in to the NEET website with the registration credentials to download the admit card of NEET 2025. 

The NEET admit card or hall ticket is released online in PDF format. Upon logging in to the official website of NEET 2024 with the registration credentials, candidates will have to click on the tab indicating NEET 2024 admit card download and the document will open in PDF format. To access the file of NEET admit card, candidates must have downloaded Acrobat Reader or similar software on their computer system. Candidates will have to save the document in PDF format and take multiple printouts before the exam day.  They must save and preserve both the hardcopy and the softcopy of the NEET 2024 admit card till the admission process is over. 

Once the NEET registration process is completed and the login credentials are generated, candidates are advised to save and preserve those for future usage. In case candidates are unable to login, they should first check whether the NEET application number, password and security pin or captcha entered are correct or not. In case either of the information is wrong, it will not be possible to login. In that case, they have to click on the Forgot Your Password or Forgot Your Application tabs and retrieve it either through Security Question or through Reset Link sent to their registered email address. In case of retreiving the NEET application number, they have to enter their names, email address and the Security Pin and submit. The application number will be sent to their registered email address. 

NEET admit card is one of the most crucial documents that needs to be carried to the exam centre as well as during the NEET counselling process. The information printed on the admit card of NEET are as follows:

• Name of the candidate
• NEET roll number
• NEET registration number
• Date and time of the examination
• Father's name
• Mother's name
• Date of birth
• Gender
• Category/ Sub-category
• Address
• Medium (Language) of the examination or the NEET question paper
• Name and address of the exam centre
• Candidate signature
• Exam day instructions and guidelines.

Apart from the above mentioned information, there would be space provided for pasting candidate photographs and signatures. There is also a Self Declaration Form which has to be filled in compulsorily and submitted to the invigilator on the day of the exam. 

NEET 2025 admit card has to be downloaded in online mode only. Prior to starting the process, candidates should keep handy the NEET 2025 username and password and ensure a stable internet connection. The procedure for downloading the admit card or the hall ticket for NEET 2025 is as follows:

• Visit the NEET 2025 website 
• Click on the link or tab indicating NEET 2025 Admit Card download
• Fill up a form regarding your the latest health and travel updates
• Click on the link indicating NEET 2025 Admit Card Download
• Log in with NEET 2025 Application Number and Password along with the Security Pin
• Download the NEET 2025 Admit Card
• Take multiple printouts.

No, NTA did not send the NEET 2024 admit card by post and candidates have to download it online from the official website. Students who will appear for NEET must download the admit card in an online mode as and when it was released and not delay it till last moment. Candidates are advised to take multiple printouts and check the details printed on the NEET admit card 2024 carefully. In case a candidate lacks a proper internet connection, then he or she can visit a nearby Common Service Centre or CSC or take the help of teachers or peers to download and print the admit card of NEET 2024.

Candidates have to paste their postcard-size photograph of 4"x6" dimension on the NEET 2024 admit card before reaching the exam centre. The photograph should be the same as that uploaded during the NEET 2024 application process. The photograph should be clearly visible and legible and fulfills the guidelines given by NTA. The photograph has to be pasted properly on the admit card so that it does not drop off from the document. The photograph should follow the parameters given below:

• The photograph should not be older than January 2024
• Candidates should not be wearing caps or sunglasses or face mask
• Both ears should be clearly visible
• The photograph should have been taken against a white background
• Candidates will have to sign on the photograph on the left side NTA states that it is mandatory to paste the photograph on the admit card, otherwise it would lead to disqualification.

Candidates were advised to take a coloured printout of the NEET 2024 admit card. However, it was not compulsory. NTA did not state any guideline regarding this. They must have carried two to three spare copies of the NEET admit card for future use. However, in case a candidate does not have access to a coloured printer, s/he could take a black and white printout of the NEET 2024 admit card as well, but the details such as photograph and text should have been clearly visible. Test takers had to paste their photograph in the space provided and should not have signed on it. The Self Declaration Undertaking had to be filled up prior to the exam day. 

In such a scenario, you must contact the NTA immediately and get it rectified. If the details printed on the NEET 2024 admit card does not match those on the official ID proof that you will carry on the day of the examination, then you have to show the copies of email communications with NTA requesting to make the necessary changes. NTA has stated that candidates will be allowed to appear for the exam with the originally issued NEET admit card.  NTA will take necessary action to make corrections in the record later. 

Candidates could check the login credentials that they have entered. The password for the registered account is case sensitive, thus, they have to enter the password carefully. If they are still unable to download the admit card of NEET 2024, they can enquire at the NTA NEET helpline number 011 69227700, 011 40759000 or send email to neet@nta.ac.in. In case candidates are unable to download the NEET admit card from the exam website, then they can try to do so from DigiLocker or Sandes App.

Candidates are advised to save a soft copy for future reference. Also, NTA will email a copy of the admit card to your registered email Id, you can download it from the email. As per the dates trend of the past few years, the National Testing Agency (NTA), the exam conducting authority releases the NEET admit card approximately three to four days before the actual exam date. In the past couple of years, from 2021 to 2023, the NEET admit card or the hall ticket was released approximately three to four days befoe the exam. Prior to that, the admit card was released three to four months in advance. Off late, NTA is releasing the document few days before the exam to avoid malpractices. For the convenience of candidates, NTA releases advance intimation to exam city slip which mentions the state in which the NEET exam centre will be located. 

NEET admit card is a crucial document which is a must to be carried to the exam centre on the day of the exam. The NEET admit card will be valid till the admission process is completed. After the exam day, the NEET admit card will be required during the counselling process, where it is one of the documents for verification. Candidates must note that the NEET admt card will be valid for one exam season only. The admit card of NEET cannot be utilised for the exam of next year, or any other exam.

The document has to be downloaded online by logging in to the exam website with the registration credentials. The advance intimation to exam city slip carries the name of the city where candidates' NEET exam centre will be located. The actual exam centre address will be provided on the NEET admit card. 

No, once the NEET city slip is issued by NTA, it is not permitted to request for change in the exam city. NTA tries to allot the NEET exam city based on candidates' first preference. However, there may be situations where it is not possible to allot the preferred city. Hence, candidates have to make the necessary travel or accommodation arrangements accordingly, instead of approaching NTA to change the exam city. 

The NEET city allotment slip is not the same as the NEET admit card. While the NEET city intimation slip only informs candidates about the exam city and the state, the NEET admit card mentions the exact name and address of the NEET exam centre allotted to candidates. Apart from this, the admit card of NEET also carries the exam day instructions and guidelines, and the Self Declaration Undertaking which must be filled and signed by candidates. The NEET admit card also carries fields for parents', candidates' and invigilators' signatures. While parents' signatures have to be made on the document in advance, candidates and invigilators have to sign during the exam. Last but not the least, the NEET admit card is the mandatory document to be carried to the exam centre, without which candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam. On the other hand, it is not mandatory to carry the NEET city allotment slip to the exam centre or for further events such as counselling or institute reporting. 

The format for NEET exam is a total of 180 question with total 720 marks. Four marks will be awarded for a right answer and one mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. The questions will be objective type that is MCQ based. 90 questions will be from Biology including Zoology and Botany both, and 45 questions each from Physics and 45 Chemistry. Each subject will be divided into two sections. The syllabus will be that of Class 11 and Class 12 CBSE syllabus.

NEET or the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test involves various stages or events. The dates for each event are announced by the exam conducting body, National Testing Agency (NTA), in advance. Candidates had to sign on the NEET 2024 admit card in presence of the invigilator. This acts\ed as a proof of attendance for the exam day. In case a candidate signed it before that, he/she should have discarded the document and taken a fresh print out and follow the instructions carefully. If a candidate realised this after reaching the exam centre, then they had to notify the exam centre authorities and seek for their approval to allow them to appear for the exam. Candidates had to put their left-hand thumb impression on the NEET 2024 admit card in the space provided. The thumb impression had to be put on the space provided before reaching the exam hall. NTA did not give any instruction regarding the colour of the ink, hence, if a candidate wished to put the thumb impression with black ink, he/she could do that. However, test-takers must ensure that the thumb impression is put properly on the NEET admit card and it should match the one uploaded in the application form. Moreover, the ink should not be smudged and the impression of the thumb should not be placed anywhere else on the document except the space provided. Also, candidates must ensure that they put their own thumb impression and not anyone else's. In case there is a difference and NTA finds out about this malpractice, the candidate would be disqualified in NEET and he/she would not be eligible to take part in the counselling process even if they qualify for the exam.

No, it is not necessary to submit the NEET admit card to the invigilator before leaving the exam centre. Invigilators check the admit card to validate candidates' attendance. They check the photograph, parents' signature and the self declaration form. Candidates are asked to sign in front of the invigilator, who then compares it with the printed signature on the admit card. Before leaving the exam hall, candidates have to submit their test booklet. They can carry the question paper and the NEET admit card outside the exam hall after the exam completion. However, candidates must keep a couple of extra copies of the admit card with them for their convenience. 

Yes, candidates have to carry an extra passport-sized photograph on the day of the examination. This photograph has to be affixed on the attendance sheet in front of the invigilator. The passport-size photograph should be the same as that uploaded during the NEET 2024 application process. However, candidates should not have signed on the photograph that is meant to be pasted on the attendance sheet as per the instruction given by NTA on the NEET admit card. To be on the safer side, candidates are advised to carry more than one passport-size photograph to the exam centre, along with the other permissible items.

No, candidates were not allowed to appear for the examination without a valid photo ID. Candidates were advised to keep the following three things ready with them, a day before the examination; a valid photo ID proof, NEET admit card 2024, and a recent passport-sized photograph. These are the mandatory documents to be produced during entry to the NEET exam centre.
