The NEET 2024 admit card for the retest held on June 23, 2024, was released on June 20, 2024. The re-NEET 2024 was conducted by NTA only for the 1,563 candidates with awarded grace marks for loss of time at the NEET 2024 exam centre. The NEET 2024 result of the retest was declared on July 1, 2024. On the other hand, based on the Supreme Court verdict on various petitions against NEET 2024, NTA released re-revised scorecards and merit list on July 26, 2024. NEET Admit Card 2024: Important Instructions
Candidates had to follow the instructions given below after downloading the NEET 2024 admit card:

- Candidates must leave the exam hall one by one and must wait for their turn to avoid crowding outside the centres.
How to Retrieve a Forgotten Registration Number?
Retrieving the registration number is a four-step process. Though the process is easy, candidates were advised to note the number carefully and not rely on this method.
Steps to retrieve the registration ID:
- Go to the official website of NTA NEET.
- Click on “Forgot Registration Number”.
- Enter the following details: Name, mother’s name, father’s name, category, date of birth, and security pin.
- The registration number will be displayed on the screen.
- Copy the number and use it to download the admit card.

Candidates had to sign on the NEET 2024 admit card in presence of the invigilator. This acts\ed as a proof of attendance for the exam day. In case a candidate signed it before that, he/she should have discarded the document and taken a fresh print out and follow the instructions carefully. If a candidate realised this after reaching the exam centre, then they had to notify the exam centre authorities and seek for their approval to allow them to appear for the exam. Otherwise, they had to take a printout of the NEET 2024 from the exam centre or from the vicinity.

Candidates had to put their left-hand thumb impression on the NEET 2024 admit card in the space provided. The thumb impression had to be put on the space provided before reaching the exam hall. NTA did not give any instruction regarding the colour of the ink, hence, if a candidate wished to put the thumb impression with black ink, he/she could do that. However, test-takers must ensure that the thumb impression is put properly on the NEET admit card and it should match the one uploaded in the application form. Moreover, the ink should not be smudged and the impression of the thumb should not be placed anywhere else on the document except the space provided. Also, candidates must ensure that they put their own thumb impression and not anyone else's. Before leaving the exam hall, candidates have to submit their test booklet. They can carry the question paper and the NEET admit card outside the exam hall after the exam completion.
