A. NEET PG 2022 exam was based on basic concepts and I think basics were covered pretty well in our UG course. Questions were easy and there were least number of tough questions. I believe this time easy paper was given to students.

Candidates are advised to attempt only those questions where they are confident of right answer otherwise negative marking may outweigh the overall score.
Q Which areas were your strong points and which were weaker and how did you overcome them?
A. My strong areas were Medicine and Surgery. I had prepared them well. A good number of questions were there from these areas. There were lots of overlapping in asking questions. They were not directly based on any particular topic. Like some questions were based on Gynae but co related with medicine as well. Around 40 questions were based on medicine out of 200. But these questions were easily where only basic knowledge of medicine of student was tested. My weak areas were ENT and Ophthalmology in this exam. Slightly trickier questions were asked from these topics.
Q Did you appear for INI CET also?
A. I also appeared for INI CET 2022 July session where I bagged 8th Rank.
Q: What was your routine during your preparation tenure and how did you balance your studies and internship with the exam preparation?
A. I did make my primary note before my internship. Only revision part was left which I managed by giving 2-3 hours daily during internship. Whenever I managed 4-5 hours at stretch, I focussed on revision of notes. I used to practice questions on mobile while travelling or at hospitals.
Q: Has NEET PG 2025 pattern released by NBE?

Q: What is NEET PG exam analysis all about?
NEET PG exam analysis is a comprehensive review of the examination, providing insights into the difficulty level of questions, the weightage of various subjects, and the overall structure of the exam. The analysis helps aspirants understand the exam pattern, the types of questions asked, and the areas they need to focus on to score well. In the case of NEET PG 2023, the exam analysis indicates that the paper was relatively easy compared to the previous year, with a higher proportion of clinical questions from medicine and microbiology.

Yes. According to the exam pattern, mark is deducted for each wrong answer in NEET PG exam. For each right answer, candidates get 4 marks and for each wrong answer, -1 mark is deducted. As there is a provision of the negative marking in the exam, candidates are advised to answer only those questions where they have confidence of right answer, otherwise negative marking may put toll on overall score.
Q: Will NBE change NEET PG 2025 pattern?
There is no such reports stating that NEET PG 2025 pattern will be changed. NEET PG 2025 pattern will be released along with the official information brochure. As per students, 180-190 questions were easy to attempt and 10 percent were out of box questions.
Q. What message (preparation tips) you want to give to aspirants who want to crack the exam?
A. My message to aspirants who would be appearing in NEET PG 2022 exam in near future is to be consistent in your preparation and don’t take on too much. Remember concept is the key. One should focus on in dept study of every topics of the syllabus.
Q. Do you think mock test, revision play pivotal role in terms of overall NEET PG preparation?
A. Mock test is extremely important which basically checks your preparation and tells you what more needs to be done, which subjects needs more attention. Candidates should appear for at least 12-15 mock tests before the final exam.
Q. Ideally when should NEET PG syllabus be completed and revision should start?
A. Notes should be ready before your internship starts. The first revision should be over by 7-8 months into the internship. Second and third revision in the last 4-month of internship. While revision, candidates should start with most difficult subject as it boosts your confidence. This is because candidates think that most time consuming portion has already been covered and whatever is left can be done easily.
Q Some students were demanding to postpone the exam so that they could get more time for preparation. Do you it would have benefited them?
A. I didn’t agree with those students who were demanding to postpone the exam. This hardly could have made any difference. Even if the date was postponed, more or less questions would remain same. They were not asking anything in details which needed to be mugged up. They only asked questions on basic concept which were supposed to be built from first or second year only in MBBS course. Anyone who had read subjects well during their UG course, they had better chance of scoring marks in the exam. NEET PG 2022 exam focussed on concepts and it can’t be mugged up.
