NI CET 2025 pattern for January session was released along with the official information brochure. AIIMS uploads the exam pattern on its official website. INI CET exam pattern comprises details about the mode of the exam, duration, marking scheme, and the total number of questions. According to the existing INI CET pattern, the examination is conducted in an online mode. AIIMS INI CET test paper comprises 200 objective questions and candidates get three hours to answer them. Q:   Do questions repeat in the INI CET exam?

At times, questions get repeated in the INI CET exam. But candidates are advised to prepare thoroughly so that they can answer every possible question in the exam. As the INI CET is one of the toughest exams, candidates should focus on concepts. At least two revisions are required before the exam date. After finishing the INI CET syllabus, candidates should appear in a mock test and solve previous question papers. Q:   Will there negative marking in INI CET exam?

A:

Yes, there will be negative marking in INI CET 2025 exam. According to INI CET pattern 2024, -1/3 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. For right answer, +1 mark will be awarded to candidates. Candidates are advised to answer only those questions where they feel confident of answer as negative marking may put toll on overall score. INI CET 2025 January session is scheduled to be held on November 5 in computer-based mode. Registration for INI CET 2025 January will begin most likley in the third week of September.

INI CET Pattern: Explained

According to the pattern of INI CET 2025 pattern, the examination will be conducted in a computer-based mode. The examination will be held at digital centres where each candidate will be allotted a separate system to attempt the examination. They will be issued separate login IDs for the exam day. Candidates will be allowed to log in to their accounts five minutes before the examination begins. The total duration for INI CET 2025 January session exam will be 180 minutes. On completion of the time, candidates will have to submit their tests online.

Type of Questions:

Questions for INI CET 2025 will be objective type. This implies that each question will have four response options. Candidates don't need to write a descriptive type answer, instead, they will have to choose the correct response from the given options. 

However, more than one response can be correct for a given question. Such questions will fall under multiple correct answer type questions. Candidates will be marked according to the responses marked by them.

The answer to the above question is ‘emulsification of fats’, thus candidate has to mark ‘c’. No other option given above is correct. Such type of questions will be called 'single-best answer' type questions.

Such questions will have responses like

(1) If a, b, c are correct

(2) If a and c are correct

(3) If b and d are correct

(4) If all four (a, b, c, & d) are correct

Candidates should read and understand the question thoroughly to be able to answer such questions. Since more than one given option will be correct here, such questions are called 'multiple correct answer' type questions. Candidates must note that, though the question may have more than one correct answer, there is only one correct response even for these questions. Candidates will ahve to mark only one response on the OMR sheet for such questions.

INI CET 2025 Marking Scheme

AIIMS Delhi will release the official marking scheme for INI CET 2025 January session. As per the existing marking scheme, candidates will be getting -1/3 negative mark for every wrong answer in the exam. Check the details of the INI CET marking scheme in the table below:

Q:   What is the minimum cut off percentile to qualify INI CET exam?

A:

Candidates have to score the minimum marks to qualify for the AIIMS INI CET exam. The minimum marks vary for each category of students in the exam. While the General category candidates have to score minimum 50 percentile to qualify for the exam, those who belong to reserved category need to score 45 percentile marks. Anybody who score less than the minimum cut off will not be able to qualify for the exam. I

INI CET 2024 Syllabus

INI CET 2025 syllabus comprises all subjects studied during MBBS. The syllabus mainly comprises three sections, clinical, pre and para clinical. All three sections comprise many subjects from anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, microbiology and others. Candidates should have idea about syllabus so that they have idea about what all subjcts have to be prepared to ace INI CET 2025 exam. Once candidates get an idea about the syllabus, they start plan, allocating time for each subjects.

 

Q:   Which part of INI CET syllabus is difficult to prepare?

A:

All three subjects such as clinical, pre clinical, para clinical are equally difficult to prepare. Clinical topics are vast in comparison to pre and para clinical topics. Ideally candidates should focus on understanding the concept. Candidates should keep the fact in mind INI CET is one of the toughest exams so shallow preparation doesn’t work. They should have robust plan and strategy to crack the exam.

Q:   Is it necessary to cover all sections and topics from the syllabus of INI CET?

Yes. As the INI CET entrance exam is one of the toughest exams and questions could be concept-based, candidates have to focus on every subject and topic in the syllabus. One can't afford to neglect any of the topic in the exam. Plan in such a way so that every topic is covered well before time and you have enough time for 2-3 times revision. In addition, focus more on those areas where you are weak. Do analyze your performance on regular basis.
