NExT exam pattern will be released by AIIMS Delhi. The exam pattern along with crucial dates will be released along with the official information brochure on the official website. The exam pattern comprises crucial details about exam including mode, medium of exam, total number of questions and their type, allotted type and marking scheme.

NExT MBBS exam will be held in August 2025 for the first time. NExT exam will be held in two steps, Step 1 and Step 2. Step 1 NExT exam (theory based) will be conducted in computer-based mode. NExT step 2 will be practical based offline exam.

NExT MBBS Pattern

NExT pattern has not been released yet however, AIIMS has released pattern for NExT Step 1 mock exam. It is expected that NExT pattern will be on the similar line. According to mock exam pattern for NExT MBBS, the exam will be held in computer-based mode in two shifts. There will be two papers, paper 1 and paper 2. A total of 260 questions will be asked in both the papers.

Syllabus of NExT Step

NExT Syllabus has been released by AIIMS. A total of 6 subjects will be the part of Step 1 NExT exam which will be theory based. Candidates will be evaluated based on the performance in 7 subjects in NExT Step 2. It must be noted candidates who qualify Step 1 NExT exam and complete the internship can appear for NExT Step 2 practical exam.

NExT Mock Exam

 NExT mock exam registration had started online. Candidates had to register on the official website and submit application form for the mock exam till July 10, 5 pm. The mock exam for NExT MBBS was scheduled to b held online on July 28 but it was cancelled. Applicants had to complete all steps of application process for the mock exam. NExT application process includes 3 steps such as registration and basic candidate information, generation of Exam Unique Code (EUC), and completion of application form.

You can repeat if you change your board to  CBSE or other state boards.
