NEXT MBBS mock test stands cancelled says an official of NMC. Candidates had to register and submit application form for NMC NExT exam, scheduled for July 28. Registration for NEXT MBBS mock test had started on June 28 by All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Candidates had to register on the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in for NExT NMC mock exam. The mock test for NMC NExT was to be held to make candidates understand the whole process of the computer-based exam.

NExT mock exam application form process includes steps such as registration, generation of Exam Unique (EUC) and completion of application form. July 14 was the last date for EUC generation and completetion of application form for NExT mock exam. Candidates who complete the basic registration can go for EUC generation. The mock exam aims to make candidates understand the software interface works and process flow at the examination center. It must be noted National Exit Test will be held in two steps, Step 1 (theory) and Step 2 (practical). The final year MBBS students were eligible for the mock exam for NExT exam, which will be held in 2028 for the first time

Steps for NExT MBBS Mock Test Application Form
NMC NExT Step 1 mock test has been designed on the pattern of the exam. Candidates will have to complete all the steps to appear for the online mock test. Step 1 NExT mock test application process comprises steps such as registration and basic candidate information, generation of Exam Unique Code (EUC), and completion of application. Paying fee is compulsory to appear for the online mock exam. The deadline to submit application form for the mock exam was July 10.

Registration and Basic candidate Information
The very first step to appear for NexT mock exam is registration and completion of basic candidate information. Registration can be done on the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in. Candidates will have to submit basic details such as name, date of birth, email ID, mobile number etc to complete basic registration. They also have to upload images including photo, sign, left thumb impression in right size and format. A registration ID and password will be generated and sent to email ID after successful registration. Basic registration is mandatory to generate Exam Unique Code (EUC).
Generation of Exam Unique Code (EUC) for application
Exam Unique Code can be generated only after completion of basic registration. Only those who have valid and confirmed registration can proceed for EUC generation. Generation of EUC indicates that application is willing to apply for the Mock/Practice Test. The code is specific to each examination instance and must be generated afresh for any instance of examination for NExT Step 1. EUC could be generated from June 28 to July 14.
Completion of application form
The last step of the whole application process for NExT mock exam is completion of application form. It must be noted candidates should have completed above mentioned two steps to complete applications for NExT mock practice test. Applicants should be careful while filling details in the application form for NExT exam as many of details can’t be changed. Candidates must ensure their Email IDs and mobile phone numbers given in their online application form are valid and active.
Application Fee for NExT Mock Test
Applicants do have to pay application fee to participate in the mock exam for NExT Step 1. The application fee has to be paid online through debit card, credit card and net banking. Candidates must know application fee paid once can’t be refunded. AIIMS will not accept any application without fee for Next mock practice exam.

NExT Mock Exam Admit card
The admit card for NExT mock exam is released online for candidates who complete all the steps of application process. Candidates have to download the admit card from the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in after providing details such as registration ID, password and EUC. According to official information brochure for NExT mock test, admit card link was to be activated on July 21. The admit card comprises important details including name and address of exam centre. The exam has been cancelled.
Scheme of NExT Mock Practice Exam
AIIMS has also released mode and scheme for NExT mock exam for Step 1. There will be two papers in two different shifts. The exam will be held in computer-based mode. The total time allotted for paper is 3 hour and paper 2 is 3 and 1/2. NExT mock question paper 1 will comprise total 120 questions while paper 2 will comprise 140 questions. There is a provision of negative marking in the exam.
