Few of the common mistakes done by students while preparing for CET-IPU are:

  • Not having a proper time table: Students work hard, but many of them do not prepare a daily/weekly time table. Time-table must be in such a way that it must be promising and must be followed.
  • Clearing doubts: A lot of students feel shy to ask about their doubts about their faculties and at that moment, they leave those doubts and move on which creates problems for exam preparation and revision.
  • Regular revision: Needs to regularly revise all the concepts, formulae and shortcuts learnt, else, it might become difficult to recall them on the day of the final exam. For this, you can keep half a day aside every week or fortnight, wherein you would be revising all that you have covered so far.
  • Skipping mock test: Mock tests are for revision. In that, they clear their doubts and give details about time management and tell you how much you need to prepare.
  • Analysis of mock test: You must need to give a maximum of 8 mock tests and analyse every mock test.
  • Giving up in the middle of the journey: Many students think that it’s not possible to crack the exam. So, they give up and start preparing for other exams or else, they leave their aim or passion.

Q:   What is the marking scheme of IPU CET examination?

A:

In IPU CET for each correct answer, four marks will be awarded and for each incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted. There is no marks deducted for unanswered questions.

The examination is conducted for 150 minutes or 2 hours 30 minutes. The candidates should be aware of the marking scheme before attempting the exam.

Q:   How can I register for CA foundation exam?

A:

Usually, the average cut off range for B.Com or B.Com (hons) at DU is around from 84% to 98%. The highest cut-off marks for DU admissions typically fall between 650-700.
