EMAT applicants chosen for admission to the EPGP programme of IIM Kozhikode will receive notification via email. No, EMAT exam does not have sectional time limit to appear for the exam. However, students will be required to complete the exam in pre informed exam duration i.e, two hours and no extra time will be granted to the students under any circumstances. EMAT is a computer-based online exam the test screen will move from first section to the next section only when the candidate clicks the next button. Candidates have to be mindful of the on-screen timer and pre-decide the number of questions to solve in each section as there will be negative markings. It is not mandatory to solve all the questions in EMAT exam so candidates can devise a strategy to use the exam duration as per their strength and weakness. EMAT 2025 Preparation Tips

Candidates who will register successfully for EMAT 2025 need to appear for the test. The entrance exam will be designed and evaluated by IIM-K. Candidates will be tested on topics like Logical Reasoning, Numerical, Data Interpretation and Verbal Skills. Also, candidates need to appear for a Personal Interview. Candidates are required to pay INR 2000 as the non-refundable application fee. Candidates could choose any of the following modes of payment:

Net Banking
Credit Card/ Debit Card

Candidates must note that any other mode of payment will not be accepted. Also, the registration automatically expires if the application form is not completed within 7 days from the date of registration.

EMAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university
Candidate belonging to General/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/ EWS/Women/SC/ST/PwD categories should have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA in their graduation
The candidate must hold three years of managerial/ entrepreneurial/ professional experience after graduation (as on the commencement date of the programme)
In case of the absence of recognised bachelor's degree, candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% in CA/ICWA/CS
Candidates having obtained a degree from a foreign university can also apply provided the candidate is producing the equivalency certificate from the Association of Indian Universities or any Government of India-approved assessment agency or an Indian University approved by UGC along with the proof of aggregate percentage of marks obtained in the programme completed.

Please note: These scores should not be older than two years from EMAT exam date.
