UCEED 2025 eligibility criteria
The candidate needs to meet the following eligibility criteria for appearing in UCEED 2025.
- Age limit - The candidate must be born on or after October 1, 2000. Relaxation in the upper age limit of 5 years applies to candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories.
- Number of attempts - A candidate is allowed to take the UCEED exam a maximum of two times and that too in consecutive years.
- Qualifying exam - The candidate must have passed all the subjects in the qualifying exam (10+2 or equivalent) in 2023 or should be appearing in the qualifying exam for the first time in 2025. Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying for the first time in 2023 or earlier are not eligible.

No, Lovely Professional University does not offer direct admission. However, there are few courses to which admission is merit-based. Aspirants scoring a 65% aggregate have a good chance of getting admission in LPU. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the university to apply online. To apply for LPU, aspirants need to register for LPUNEST for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. LPU admission to most of the courses is based on LPUNEST score. Apart from the eligibility criteria mentioned above, the participating institutes have their own eligibility conditions given below.
- Candidates from the Science Stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are eligible to apply to ALL the five participating institutes.
- Candidates from any other stream (Science without Mathematics or Physics or Chemistry, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible to apply to IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, and IIT Hyderabad.
- For admission to BDes at IIITDM Jabalpur, only students with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology at 10+2 are eligible.
- Students from Arts or Humanities at 10+2 are not eligible to apply for BDes admissions at IIITDM Jabalpur.

The Department of Design, IITD, is set ton introduce a B.Tech in Design program from the upcoming admission session.
It will have an intake of 20 students in the first batch. It is a 4 year program. The intake will be based on JEE advanced merit rank.
