Q: When will be CUET UG exam conducted?
CUET UG 2025 exam will be conducted tentatively in third week of May 2025. NTA will release the official notification for CUET UG exam date before the release of notification. Candidates will be able to know exam details through CUET UG information bulletin. NTA will conduct CUET UG 2025 exam in multiple phases depending upon the number of candidates registering for the exam. Registered candidates will know the exact CUET UG exam on release of the hall ticket. CUET UG 2025 exam will be a hybrid mode i.e., candidates will have to report at the alloted exam centre on the day of the examination. The exam will be held in two to three slots each day depending upon the subject combinations chosen by the candidate.
Q: Is CUET exam date announced?
National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the CUET 2025 exam date anytime soon at nta.ac.in. It is expected that CUET UG 2025 exam will be held in May/June. The exam will be conducted in multiple slots each day. The number of CUET exam slots will depend upon the number of candidates registered for the exam.
CUET 2025 registrations will commence at cuetug.ntaonline.in. Candidates willing to appear for the CUET for admission to UG courses of Central, State, Private or Deemed universities must fill the online application form to appear for the CUET 2025 exam. Only registered candidates will be able to appear for the exam as per the schedule.
- Light clothes with long sleeves will not be permitted.
- In case, candidates come in cultural/ customary dress at the Examination Centre, they should report at least an hour before the last reporting time so that there is enough time for proper frisking without any inconvenience to the candidate while maintaining the sanctity of the examination.
- Slippers, and sandals with low heels are permitted. Shoes are not permitted.
- In case of any deviation required due to unavoidable (medical, etc.) circumstances, specific approval of NTA must be taken before the release of CUET 2025 admit card.

CUET Exam 2025: What Not To Carry In CUET Exam Hall
Candidates will not be permitted to take items such as:
- Pencil
- Eraser
- Correction fluid
- Calculator

- Mobile phones
- No Candidate is allowed to enter the Centre wearing his/her own mask. A fresh Mask will be provided at the Centre. Personal masks will be disposed of in a closed pedal push bin provided at the Centre
- Shoes/footwear with thick soles and garments with large buttons are NOT permitted
- Blank paper sheets for rough work will be provided in the examination Hall/Room. Candidates will be able to check the CUET 2024 allotted exam centre upon release of CUET intimation slip and CUET admit card. Only candidates who will fill the CUET application form along with the successful application fee payment will be able to download the intimation slip for CUET exam. The name of exam centre will be mentioned on the intimation alip in advance to help candidates make preparations accordingly. The CUET 2024 admit card is expected to release three to four days prior to the day of examination in online mode. As per the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment guidelines, PwD candidates will be provided with following facilities:
- Scribe facility: In case the candidate has physical limitation and required a scribe for writing the exam, he/she must be certified in the format provided by CMO/Civil Surgeon/ Medical Superintendent of a Government Health Care Institution.
- Compensatory time: PwD candidates will get extra time of one hour whether such candidates use scribe facilities or not.

Q: When should I reach the CUET exam centre?
Candidates must ideally reach the alloted CUET exam centre well in time i.e., two hours prior to the commencement of the examination. Candidates must complete the drisking process and take their seats immediately after opening of the examination hall. If the candidates does not report at the alloted CUET exam centre on time due to traffic, delay in transport, they will miss out on important instructions to appear for the exam. Candidates must obey with the instructions given at the CUET exam centre to avoid any disqualification.
- Candidates should try to reach the examination centre 1-2 hours before the CUET Exam begins. It must be noted that candidates will not be allowed to enter the CUET 2025 exam centre 30 minutes prior to the exam commencement.
- No candidate shall be permitted to leave the Examination Room/ Hall before the end of the examination
- Candidates are advised to verify the location of the test venue, a day in advance so that they do not face any problems on the day of the test
- If religion/customs require you to wear specific attire, please visit the Centre early for thorough checking and mandatory frisking
- Frisking through a Handheld Metal Detector (HHMD) will be carried out without physical touch
- Candidates must enter the required details, paste the Photograph and put a thumb impression at the appropriate place on the CUET Admit Card 2025. They should ensure that their Left-Hand Thumb Impression is clear and not smudged
- Candidate must carry “Any one of the original and valid Photo Identification Proof issued by the Government” – PAN card/Driving Licence/Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ E-Aadhaar/ Ration Card/ Aadhaar Enrolment No. with Photo. All other ID/Photocopies of IDs even if attested/scanned photo of IDs in the mobile phone will NOT be considered as valid ID Proof.
- A PwD candidate may be allowed Compensatory/ Extra time of 20 minutes per hour of the examination, whether such candidate(having a physical limitation to write) uses the facility of Scribe or not
- PwBD candidates must bring a PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority if claiming relaxation under the PwD category. The Scribe provided by the NTA must also carry his/ her own Self Declaration (Undertaking) regarding educational qualification, passport size photograph, valid government identity
- A duly filled-in Admit Card must be handed over to the Invigilator while leaving the examination Hall/Room. Failure to do so may result in the non-evaluation of your answers
- No Candidate should adopt any unfair means or indulge in any unfair examination practices. All the Examination Centres are under surveillance of CCTV and equipped with Jammers
- The candidate should ensure that the Question Paper available on the computer screen is as per his/her opted subject/medium indicated in the Admit Card. In case, the subject/medium of the Question Paper is other than his/her opted subject/medium, the same may be brought to the notice of the Invigilator concerned
- The candidates are advised to carefully read the Subject-Specific Instructions and other instructions mentioned in the Question paper and abide by the same
- If at any stage, it is found that the candidate has submitted multiple applications, his/her candidature will be cancelled and legal action will be taken including debarring in all future examinations conducted by NTA
