BSc Biochemistry Course FAQs

Candidates can refer to this section for BSc Biochemistry Course FAQs.

Q:   Which is the better subject, Biochemistry or BSc chemistry?

A:

For students confused about whether to choose BSc Biochemistry or BSc chemistry, Chemistry deals with the study of chemical as well as physical properties of organic and inorganic matters. While BSc Biochemistry is about compounds in organic matter. Biochemistry can be referred to as the sub-branch of Chemistry that involves the combination of Biology and Chemistry.

Following class 12, BSc Chemistry and BSc Biochemistry are excellent choices. Nonetheless, a person's interests and professional goals should be taken into consideration when choosing between the two. A bachelor's degree in biochemistry can be the best option if you wish to use chemistry to study biological systems.

A Bachelor of Science in Chemistry degree might be the best option for you if you're interested in the basic ideas of chemistry and how they apply to different fields. Excellent career prospects and chances for additional study and research are provided by both courses.

Q:   Are there any tips to prepare for BSc Biochemistry entrance exam?

A:

Here are some tips that'll help you in preparing for BSc Biochemistry entrance exam:

  • Each of the four subjects—Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics—should receive equal attention from candidates.
  • One should set aside time each day to prepare for the entrance exam.
  • In order to understand the key subjects and the format of the exam questions, candidates should work through the previous year's question papers in great detail.
  • To cover most of the syllabus, candidates should also practice mock test papers in a timed, exam-like environment.
