ICMR JRF Pattern: Details
As mentioned earlier, ICMR JRF syllabus can be divided into three subjects. However, each candidate has to prepare and attempt only two of these subjects. The General Aptitude section of the examination is mandatory for all. This section comprises 50 questions. It is mandatory to answer all questions in this section.
Candidates have to choose between Life sciences and Social sciences. Each of these sections will have 100 questions. Â But, candidates will be allowed to attempt only 75 questions from either of these sections. The system will not allow the candidates to mark more than 75 questions in the examination.
Total number of questions and total marks:
Therefore, the total number of questions that a candidate can attempt is 125. Each question will have a weightage of 1 mark, which makes the total marks for ICMR JRF 2022 examination 125.
Negative marking:
ICMR JRF 2022 will also have a negative marking system. For every incorrect answer, 0.25 mark will be deducted.
