Eligibility Criteria:
For seeking admission to the VMOU B.Ed program, an interested candidate needs to fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility requirements:
- Candidates with at least 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ ST candidates) either in the bachelor’s degree and/ or in the master’s degree in Science/ Arts/ Commerce stream are eligible to apply, or
- Graduates in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% aggregate(50% for SC/ ST candidates)or equivalent qualification are also eligible to apply, or
- BSTC/ D.EI.Ed graduates with one year of teaching experience are any of the classes from 1-8.

VMOU B.Ed Entrance Exam:
The admission to the BEd course in VMOU is done based on the PTET exam however, VMOu also conducts its entrance exam. The VMOU B.Ed Entrance Exam is OMR-based and it consists of 150 questions. Every question carries three marks, therefore, the total exam is of 450 marks. For every wrong answer, there is a negative markdown. Candidates are given a three-hour duration to complete the exam. The pattern of the entrance exam is tabulated below:

VMOU B.Ed Seat Reservation 2025
The University grants reservation to its B.Ed program as per the norms set by the Rajasthan government. Seats are reserved for working/ retired/ dismissed defense category students as per NCTE norms. The University has also reserved one seat for Kashmiri migrants. Apart from seat reservation, VMOU offers a 5% relaxation on minimum eligibility criteria for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD/ female candidates.
