No, students can not join Aliah University - City Campus ( Park Circus ) directly without any entrance test.

The Aliah University Admission Test is conducted by the Aliah University, Kolkata in order to offer students admission into various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses offered by the university. AUAT is conducted in offline mode (pen and paper test) and the duration of the entrance exam is 2 hours.

Candidates seeking admission to Aliah University Park Campus must follow the online application process on the university's official website. The step-wise process for 2024 is as follows:

1. Visit the official website of Aliah University Park Campus and apply online.
2. Complete the application form with all the mandatory details.
3. Upload the required documents during the application.
4. After submitting the online application successfully, a confirmation sheet/pdf bearing the full application summary with the photo and signature of the candidate will be generated by the system.
5. Download and print the confirmation sheet and save it for future use.

AUAT 2023 Admission Process

• Firstly, the Registration process - the candidate will have to register online on the official website of Aliah University in order to apply for the AUAT 2023 exam.
• Fill Application Form.
• Then, you will receive the Admit Card.
• Now, you have to appear for AUAT exam. 
• After that, AUAT results will be out.
• At last, E-Counselling will be held.

Hence, students can not apply for the application form in offline mode in Aliah University - City Campus (Park Circus).

To prepare for the AUAT exam, candidates need to know and understand the exam pattern, marking scheme, and syllabus well enough to ace the entrance exam. The entrance exam is divided into two parts, Part A and Part B. Part A is based on general knowledge and testing of the English skills which is of 25 marks while Part B is based on the course opted for, which carries 75 marks.

The facilities of the Aliah university is good along withe the faculties. But the issue id with the co-curricular activities that shold be there in every college.

There are no programmes or functions as such so as to help the students develop their talents in other fields.

The placement ratio in the university is also very low.

However the campus is very beautiful.

Candidates should have bachelor's degree in B.E/B.Tech in relevant discipline with 6.5 DGPA from any AICTE approved institution or candidates who have passed/appeared 7th semester with 6.5 CGPA (till 6th semester) may also apply. M.Tech.

The Total Fees stucture is availabe for the students in their official site. Where as the fee stucture for the PG courses is not that clear in the official site.

However the fees for the master of law (LLM) is around Rs 9700 for 2 years.

The fees for the Master of Arts (MA) for 2 years is Rs 6100.

The fees for the course of Master of Science (M.Sc) for 2 years is Rs 22050.

And for MA journalism and mass communication the fees for 2 years is Rs 28100.

However personally if I suggest the fees for the PG Courses is not very high in the Aliah University.

Aliah University Selection Process for UG and PG Courses :

• Make sure you appear for the WBJEE entrance exam.
• Meet the cut-off score requirements.
• Then, E Counselling is held for the students.
• Submit documents for verification.
• Selected candidates must pay fees.

The University has three (3) campuses and through its 23 academic departments it offer 50 academic programmes. The present intake capacity is 1110 students at the postgraduate level and 1480 students at the undergraduate level. So, when the seats are filled completely till then colleges hold counselling for a fare admission process.

• B.Tech: 10+2 with PM+ BioTech/Chem/Biology/Technical Vocation (with 45%) with 60% marks AUAT/WBJEE qualified
• BCA: 10 +2 from any recognised board (with minimum 60% marks)
• BBA: (Hons.) 10 +2 from any recognised board with minimum 60% marks AUAT qualified.
