AMU Entrance Exam Pattern 2025:The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will conduct the AMU Entrance Exam for BA LLB courses. The entrance exam for admission to BA LLB course will be conducted in pen and paper mode. AMU Entrance Exam 2025 pattern for each course varies in terms of weightage, total marks, subjects asked, etc. Candidates can check the AMU entrance exam pattern including key features, sectional weightage, and marking scheme below. 

Q:   Does the AMU Entrance Exam have negative marking?

A:

Yes, the Aligarh Muslim University exam has a negative marking for the engineering programme. One mark will be given for the correct answer and For an incorrect answer, 0.25 or 1/4 marks will be deducted. AMU Entrance exam will be conducted via computer-based mode. The questions will be asked in the Multiple choice questions format. There will be a total of 100 questions in the examination.  As per the marking scheme, five marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will get deducted for each wrong answer. AMU Entrance Exam Pattern 2025 BA LLB

The exam pattern of BA LLB course offered through AMU Admission Test 2025 is as under: 

Type of questions - Multiple choice based question 

Marking scheme - 1 mark per question, no negative marking in case of incorrect attempts.

The exam pattern for AMU Entrance Exam 2025 for B.A. LL.B. includes 100 multiple-choice questions, of 1 mark each, and there will be no negative marking in case of incorrect attempts. The question paper of B.A. LL.B. For AMU Entrance Exam 2025 will be based on three subjects - Proficiency in English- 40 Questions, Current Affairs/ General Knowledge (with focus on legal issues) - 40 Questions, and Reasoning and Aptitude - 20 questions. The exam pattern for all other subjects through AMU Entrance Exam 2024 will be same as above except for the subjects asked in the question paper. The subjects for respective courses of AMU Entrance Exam 2025 are as under:

BA (Hons) English Composition, Grammar, Comprehension - 60 marks, General Awareness and Current Affairs 20 marks, Indo-Islamic Culture and Aligarh Movement/ Choice based subject - 10 marks, and Reasoning and Intelligence - 10 marks. B.Sc. (Hons) - 4 subjects, i.e. English- 25 marks, Physics 25 marks, Chemistry 25 marks, and optional subject of 25 marks Biology or Mathematics. B.Com (Hons) English- 25 marks, Accountancy - 20 marks, Business Studies - 15 marks, Economics - 10 marks, Elementary Mathematics and Economics - 10 marks, Reasoning and Numerical Ability - 10 marks, and General Awareness - 10 marks. Q:   What is the mode of examination for AMU entrance 2025?

The entrance exam conducted by Aligarh Muslim University, called AMU Entrance Exam is held in pen-paper based mode, i.e. candidates need to fill their responses in an OMR sheet by referring to the question paper. Candidates will have to carry HB pencil and Blue/ black ball point to mark their answers in the OMR sheet. Note that the question paper of AMU Entrance Exam 2025 will be based on Multiple Choices based questions, wherein a single question will be followed by four-five options, and candidates have to pick the correct option from them.
