The APRCET 2024 application process is now closed. The last date for APRCET 2024 registration and submission of the online application form without a late fee was March 19, 2024. Submission of online application form with late fee (INR 2000/- + Registration fee) was from March 20, 2024 to April 3, 2024. APRCET 2024 submission of online application form with late fee (INR 5000/- + Registration fee) was from April 4, 2024, to April 7, 2024. APRCET 2024 admit card was available for download at the official website of the exam i.e., - sche.ap.gov.in. from April 10, 2024. The APRCET exam was held on May 2 to 5, 2024.
APRCET exam is conducted by Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, the conducting body of the state-level examination.
APRCET 2024 exams will be held in two sessions:
Session I: 9:00 am to 11:00 am
Session II: 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm

What is APRCET?
APRCET (Andhra Pradesh Research Common Entrance Test) is a state qualifying exam that is conducted on behalf of APSCHE by Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. The state-level exam is the means through which candidates can secure admission in MPhil and PhD offered at 14 universities in Andhra Pradesh. APRCET is conducted once a year. Applicants need to meet APRCET eligibility criteria to sit for the examination. Candidates who have a post-graduate degree in Science, Management, Arts, Commerce, Law, Pharmacy and Engineering courses are eligible to apply for the examination.

APRCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates need to meet APRCET eligibility criteria to be allowed to appear for APRCET entrance exam. Eligibility criteria for APRCET exam are as follows:
- Should have a post-graduate degree with a minimum of 55 per cent marks in aggregate (45 per cent for reserved category students).
- Possess a master’s degree from a recognised board or university.
Note: There is no age limit to apply for the entrance exam.
Aspirants who are eligible for the full-time course are also entitled to pursue the part-time course as well through the entrance exam. Admission to the part-time course is based on the following criteria:
1. Candidates should be regular faculty working in the PG centres or University.
2. (A) Faculty working in postgraduate and professional colleges having completed a minimum of two years of service. However, this provision is not applicable to faculty teaching Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Humanities in professional colleges. (OR)
(B) Faculty/Librarians/Assistant Librarians working in affiliated degree colleges.
(C) Faculty working in Polytechnic/Government or private junior colleges having completed a minimum of four years of service.
3. Technical employees working in research institutes having done a minimum of five years of service.
APRCET 2023 Admission Process
Here’s a step by step format of the APRCET Admission Process.
Step 1: Online registration
Candidates who wish to sit for the APRCET entrance exam, will have to first create a login ID on the official website of the university to access the APRCET application form. After registering successfully, the candidate will then have to fill the application form. Now, click on 'Apply Now' button to proceed with the process.
Step 2: Application fee
Candidates will first have to pay the fee for the application form before applying. Candidates can do so in the following steps:

- Print application form

Step 3: Fill APRCET application form
The application forms for the exam will be online on the official website of AP RCET. Once the fee payment is done, the candidate can fill have to put in the following details before filling the application form.

Step 4: Admit card
The Andhra University will issue the admit card. Candidates who have successfully filled and submitted the application form with the fee can download the APRCET 2024 admit card from the official website of the university. Step 5: Entrance Exam
Candidates need to sit for the APRCET 2024 entrance exam which is a part of the Andhra University admission process. The entrance exam will consist of two parts. Part A- Teaching and research aptitude and Part B- Subject related questions. The APRCET exam will be based on MCQs.

Step 6: Results
Once the candidate has cleared the entrance exam, based on the marks and rank, the candidate will have to appear for an oral interview. The dates for the interview will be announced after the results will be declared.
Step 7: Counselling Fee
Candidates have to pay a sum amount of Rs 500 (General) and Rs 400 (SC/ST/PWD) towards counselling fee. Bank counter will be available at the venue for payment.
Step 8: Oral Interview
Once the list is announced after the results have been declared on the official website, candidates will have to sit for an oral interview. The university will not send an SMS, post or courier. The candidate will have to appear for the interview in person along with the required documents. The candidate will also have to present his/her area of interest/research work before a committee, which will be followed by the interview.
