Annamalai University admission to BPharm, BPharm (LE) programmes is based on the candidate’s performance in the previous qualifying exam (Class 12 or equivalent exam), followed by a university-conducted counselling round for seat allotment. Moreover, it is also compulsory for each of the aspirants to meet the course-specific eligibility requirements to seek admission. Annamalai University accepts TNEA scores for admission to the BE and BTech courses. According to TNEA Round 1 Seat allotment, B.Tech. in Information Technology closed at 11578, which is the least and the most competitive closing ranks of all the specialisations. Followed by BTech IT is B.E. in Chemical Engineering with R1 closing rank of 14882 and finally with 95280 rank is B.E. in Biomedical Engineering. The BPharm course admission cycle for batch 2024-2028 has already closed. The university has concluded with the BPharm admissions. The admissions for the upcoming batch are expected to commence in July of 2025. Candidates seeking admission must apply in the admission cycle. The classes for the current batch have already commenced.

Annamalai University offers a BE/BTech course with an average package ranging from INR 2.8 LPA to INR 4.5 LPA and a total fee between INR 1.5 Lacs to INR 7 lakh. In contrast, Anna University presents a wider range with an average package from INR 12,500 to INR 7.6 LPA and a total fee spanning from INR 17,800 to INR 13 LPA. Madras University's details are not available for average package, but the total fee is indicated as INR 15,600.
