Everything is fine except placement in this course. In other courses, there are placement offers.
Placements: My batch is the first batch. There is no placement yet, but we got an internship opportunity from the college, but we are waiting for job placement; otherwise, I got an internship from the college, which is good, and it is also a paid internship. We learn new things in this internship.
Infrastructure: There are good classrooms, and department and hostel facilities are normal. But sports are not available; otherwise, mess, canteens, and medical facilities are better, so there is nothing to worry about. Everything is nice in college; there is a campus canteen available.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful. Exams are easy if you read properly in class. I don't think this makes us industry-ready. Exams are a little bit easy; there is nothing to worry about. Teachers are super friendly, understand you, and try to give you a lot of knowledge on different topics.
Other: This course deals with farmers, agriculture-related issues, and knowledge about food quality. Events, fests, all are celebrated. There is only one thing to improve: placement offers for students.

Dissatisfied with the hostel and department lab.
Placements: A minimum of 50% of students get internships. Food industry and microbiology labs are referred for internship. Jubilant, Niftem, Nescafe, Haldiram, Coca Cola, Patanjali. Some also refer to the liquor industry as well. If your performance is good, then they keep you permanently.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good, labs are not good, classrooms are not good, and the library is very good. Hostel food is average, and rooms are okay, but the washrooms are very small, especially the girls' hostel washrooms. The canteen is very hygienic, very small, and doesn't have much to offer.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified but don't have much interest in teaching. The course curriculum is relevant, but it is mostly about working in the lab. But labs are not good; they don't have good equipment and chemicals to work with. Everything is expired and of bad quality.

A nice college, but partially.
Placements: Placements of my department are just average. Actually, students just don't go for job just by doing Bsc. They go for further higher degrees like M.Sc. Around 30%-40% of students got placed. Roles that play in placement in our are academic skills, and how we manage whole academics.
Infrastructure: I'm pretty impressed by infrastructure of our college. It provides a very good environment and facilities for students. Library is well-maintained and Wi-Fi facility is also available.
Faculty: Professors are well-qualified. Most of them hold Ph.D. qualification. Exams are held once a year and the timings of classes remain 09:00 AM to 02:00 PM, and sometimes when there is practical it goes till 04:00 PM. Course curriculum needs some changes it doesn't make students industry-ready. Facility members are also nice. They teach well and attend all the lectures according to our curriculum.
Other: Events and fests don't happen but various sports competitions are conducted every year on a broad level.

Q:   Is it worth pursuing M.Sc. at CCS Meerut University?

A:
{Source: M.Sc. students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from current students and alumni, here's what you need to know:

Pros:

* Good infrastructure and facilities, including a spacious and beautiful campus, green surroundings, and modern classrooms.
* Availability of resources such as a library, laboratories, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
* Opportunities to pursue internships and industrial training, although limited.
* Many faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable, providing guidance and support.
* Campus life is great, with a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of green spaces.

Cons:

* Placement record is poor, with few students being placed in reputed companies.
* Limited number of companies visiting the campus for recruitment.
* Course curriculum needs improvement, making it challenging for students to prepare for competitive examinations.
* Limited exposure to practical applications of theoretical concepts.
* No on-campus placements, and most students opt for off-campus placements.
* Food quality in the hostel is average, and the cost is relatively high (Rs 84 per day).
* While faculty members are knowledgeable, their teaching quality leaves much to be desired.

Verdict:
While CCS Meerut University offers a good educational experience, the lack of effective placement assistance and a rigorous course curriculum might deter some students. However, those who are willing to put in extra efforts to secure internships and off-campus placements may find the programme rewarding. Additionally, the availability of resources and supportive faculty members can aid in personal and professional development. Overall, whether or not it's worth pursuing M.Sc. at CCS Meerut University depends on individual priorities and goals.

Note: This assessment is based on the reviews and feedback provided by students and alumni and does not reflect the author's personal opinion.
