A:
{Source: M.Sc. students & alumni}

Summary: The placement cell at CUH provides satisfactory placement support to M.Sc. students. While not exclusively focused on Master's programs, students have reported receiving job offers through the placement cell. Here's a breakdown of the key findings:

* Job Fair: The placement cell organizes job fairs to connect students with potential employers.
* Career Counseling: The cell offers career counseling services to help students prepare for the job market.
* Participation Rate: Around 50-60% of students opt for placements during their time at CUH.
* Package Details: The highest package offered was INR18 LPA, while the average package was around INR4 LPA, and the lowest was INR3 LPA. Top recruiters included Infosys, TCS, and Samsung.
* Research Opportunities: Many students choose to pursue research work instead of taking up employment directly after graduation.

While the placement cell seems to be moderately effective in securing jobs for M.Sc. students, it's essential to note that individual performances vary, and students' choices play a significant role in determining their career paths.

Q:   Is CUH good for M.Sc.?

A:
{Source: M.Sc. students & alumni}

M.Sc.: Is CUH good for M.Sc?

* Pros:
+ Faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable in their respective fields.
+ Course curriculum is relevant and industry-ready.
+ Infrastructure is good, with well-maintained labs, libraries, and hostels.
+ Campus life is friendly and culturally diverse.
+ Placement support is satisfactory, with top recruiters like Infosys, TCS, and Samsung.
* Cons:
+ Placement ratio is average, with only one or two students getting placed.
+ Limited opportunities for direct placements in the M.Sc. course.
+ Some students felt that the professors did not teach everything needed for the course, requiring additional self-study.

Overall, CUH appears to offer a good environment for studying M.Sc., with knowledgeable faculty, relevant course content, and decent infrastructure. While placements might not be exceptional, students can still leverage the university's connections and skills gained during the programme to secure positions. However, students should be prepared to supplement their learning with additional efforts beyond what is taught in classes.

    The best college for a proper education.
    Placements: About 20 to 40 percent of students who joined the course were placed in good company with a good package. The maximum package was INR 15 lacs per annum, the minimum package was INR 5 lacs per annum, and the average package was INR 8 lacs per annum. Thanks for giving me this opportunity.
    Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is average. Some classrooms have simple benches and some have advanced benches. Wi-Fi does not work well. The library is good and has a reading room. The canteen is average. Our college provides a common room with good facilities for girls.
    Faculty: The faculty we have at our college is the best I have seen in 20 years. All teachers are highly qualified for what they are teaching us. The curriculum of this course is relevant; it makes the students industry-ready. The course was divided into a semester system; we had 2 semesters in a year.

    Satisfactory experience at HU.
    Placements: Placement support by the placement cell is satisfactory. During my time, 50-60% people opted for their placements. The highest package offered was 18 LPA while the average package offered was 4 LPA and the lowest package was 3lpa. Top recruiting companies were infosys, TCS, Samsung etc.
    Infrastructure: College campus boasts modern day infrastructural facilities like library, auditotirum, classrooms, sports ground, hostel, canteen. Hostel maintainence is not great but satisfactory, but mess food is not up to the mark because of which I gave low rating.
    Faculty: Teaching methodology of faculty is good and they put their best in making the concept easy for uss specially in this difficult subject. They are highly qualified and experienced. They have designed the course curriculum in a fashion to make us industry ready.
    Other: Good crowd from all over the state and nearby states as well.

    Infrastructure: Great facilities are available in the university, and the hostels are good with quality food. The hostels are under CCTV surveillance, ensuring girls' safety, and they are well-encouraged. The labs and library are useful, and medical emergency services are also available.
    Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified, and the teaching quality is good. The teachers are helpful to students in all aspects, and the course curriculum is relevant, making the students ready for the industry. The semesters are tough, and the pass percentage is above 80.

    It is a good college that has a good placement record.
    Placements: The placement cell of our college was very active. It helped in career counseling. Placements were provided through the job fair.
    Infrastructure: Our college boasts a modern and well-equipped infrastructure that caters to the academic, research, and recreational needs of students. Our campus was spread across a vast area and comprised good classrooms, a well-stocked library, advanced labs, and research facilities.
    Faculty: Our college comprised professors, assistant professors, and guest lecturers who possess expertise in various branches of Physics. They used innovative teaching methodologies, interactive sessions, and practical demonstrations to enhance the conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills of the students.
    Other: Campus crowd included students from different states. I recommend students to take admission to this college.

    Central university of Haryana .
    Placements: There are no major placement opportunities provided by both my graduation and as well as Masters college. In case of internship, our college professors help us to get internships in various small scale companies. All in all, the placement experience has been poor and we're forced to look for off campus placement.
    Infrastructure: Sports facilities of our college are very good and there are sports teams for both boys and girls. The labs and classrooms are Wi-Fi equipped with great connectivity. The infrastructure is well maintained. There are various fests celebrated in college, the main event is SPANDAN.
    Faculty: Most of the professors are Ph.D. holders. Some are NET qualified but are very helpful in case of studies as well as cooperative in internships and project work. The course curriculum is properly designed by the institute and the end semester exams are easy to moderate.
