Q:   How can I take admission in Chandigarh University?

The Chandigarh University admission process consists mainly of three steps. The admission starts with the CUCET registration process. Find below the step-wise detailed  Chandigarh University Application Process:

  1. Chandigarh University Application Process 2025: Apply online on the official website of Chandigarh University. Candidates must also pay an application fee of INR 1,000 before submitting the application form.
  2. Chandigarh University Selection Criteria 2025 via CUCET: The registered candidates are required to appear for the CUCET entrance exam on their chosen date. Chandigarh University admissions are entirely entrance-based for all courses. Candidates must qualify for CUCET to get admission. The final result will be released by the university after the commencement of the selection rounds.

Our college has good infrastructure.
Placements: Placements are not provided in our course. Companies offer salaries of Rs.15,000 to Rs.20,000 per month. Companies related to education or customer care recruit students depending on their communication skills. Students who learn programming languages like python will grab good salary packages off-campus.
Infrastructure: Everything is available in our hostel but sometimes, Wi-Fi doesn't work well and the mobile network is not good on campus. Hostel facilities are average but manageable. Mess is average as it serves repeated food items that are tasteless.
Faculty: Semester exams are not good in our college because mostly, the questions are out of the syllabus. The difficulty level of exams depends on the hard work of the students. Some teachers are helpful in every aspect but few are rude.
Other: Campus crowd is good.

It is the best college for M.Sc physics.
Placements: This university has made its landmark in placements in which university faculty members have a huge contribution. Chandigarh University also has won the record for giving maximum placements.
Infrastructure: I met many students from the hostel, and they seem to be very happy with the hostel facilities. Foodservice is very good. Bus service is also provided so that they can easily reach the hostel from the university. Classrooms are smart, and labs are equipped with 24x7 internet facility.
Faculty: The course curriculum is a very important part of our lives. Students are given lots of opportunities so that they can easily reach their goal and can stay up-to-date. Faculty members also give their best to make sure that they must give their 100% in these competitions.
Other: Lots of competition are held in our college.

I am absolutely satisfied with the faculty and with the teaching method.
Placements: We have a very good placement with the highest package of 12 lacs and the university is very much concerned for our placement and company regular visit make us more confident and better person.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available in the campus and in hostel. Labs are fully developed with LAN network. Every block has its own library. Various sport competition and fest are held in the university.
Faculty: The teacher are very helpful and every teacher in my course is very well qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good and course set accordingly to UGC.

Our university is good at everything like placements, study, gaming zone, and many other activities.
Placements: This university has introduced placement for the first-time for students of master degree, which is very beneficial. The highest salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month. Many companies visited our campus, and many students got jobs in a placement which helps them in future to polish themselves.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this university is very good. Many facilities are provided to students like good food and hostels. But the hostel food was not good. However, the quality of food available in university is good. Classrooms and labs are well-furnished.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. They use different methods to teach so that students can understand properly. As our faculty is helpful, they understand the students' problem and help them.

In short, the university is good in the field of placements and education. Hostels can be improved.
Placements: University has a very high record of placements through the campus itself. Many well-established companies come here for quality placements. Moreover, a mega job fair is organised every year which provides jobs to aspirants. The highest package offered was around 31 LPA, and the lowest package could be about 1.5 LPA. Many students got internships in various companies which provided stipend up to Rs. 5,000 per month. There is a placement department which conducts various job fairs in the campus.
Infrastructure: The university has a great infrastructure. The main campus has 12 academic blocks which are well-furnished and well-equipped. Each block has its own library and a central library with books of all sorts. Medical facilities are good in this university; a team of doctors is available in the dispensary and medicines are also provided. The consultancy fee is nil, but the medicines are chargeable. The university provides a good number of indoor and outdoor games including basketball courts, cricket ground and badminton courts. Campus Wi-Fi facility is not good here; it disconnects automatically after some time. The boys' hostels are not good at Chandigarh University. The rooms for 4 boys are not spacious enough. They are ideal for 4 people though. The girls' hostels have pest issues. Food quality in the hostel is decent; it's neither very tasty nor too bad.
Faculty: Faculty members here are highly educated. People who have done masters in courses and are doctorate holders are employed. Teachers are always available to solve the problems of students. Any student can contact the teachers anytime for the problems regarding their course. Talking about the course curriculum, it is up to date meeting the requirements of hirers. But the issue is that the semester is only of 4 months during which two terminal exams are conducted leaving almost no time for revision of subjects.
Other: Many events like job fairs, tech invents etc. are organised to search for the true potential of students. Many musical events are also organised throughout the year. A college fest is organised every year in which many noted artists pay a visit to the campus. The campus has very good lush green surroundings which keep the minds of students fresh.
