Review of Central University of Jammu.
Placements: In our course, most students went for higher studies PhD. Some of them join schools and private coaching institutes like Unacademy and PW. The average income after completing the course is around Rs. 50,000 per month for coaching jobs. For Ph.D., they earn at least Rs. 45,000 per month - Rs. 80,000 per month.
Infrastructure: We have excellent infrastructure. We have all types of labs, such as nuclear, NMR, electronic, molecular, optics, and solid state. Wi-Fi is available on all floors of the department. Classrooms are air-conditioned, and air purifiers are installed. We have dedicated library for science students.
Faculty: Teachers are nice and soft. All have good degrees and are knowledgeable. At the end of BSc, we have one research project worth 12 credits, and at the end of MSc, we have another worth 18 credits. These two research projects are very helpful for pursuing PhDs, either in our country or abroad.

Excellent education, good infrastructure, and good facilities, but very faraway from hostel.
Placements: The number of students who were placed in my course was 40 because in my course there were only 40 seats available, which were selected through the entrance examination. After finishing the course, most of the students were placed in colleges and schools, and some were qualified Net Jr. and further pursuing Ph.D.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure were good; there were libraries, labs, and a well-ventilated classroom. But one thing that is not good were the university hostels. Although the food and rooms were good, they were very far away from the university, making it sometimes difficult for students to reach university in time.
Faculty: The faculty were excellent, very hardworking, helpful and passionate about there students and work. All the faculty were highly qualified professionals and knowledgeable. The pattern of the examination was good and the best part is that after checking the exam paper you can also get an opportunity to check your paper and you can say if you are satisfied with your numbers or not to your faculty.
Other: The best thing about joining this course and university was that I got a lot of experience and in university there is student diversity as you can meet students from different states. Also, it hosts different functions, events, fests, alumni meet and so on.

A college that gave me good memories and great aspirations.
Placements: The college has recently established a new placement and entrepreneurship team, and it is still in the developmental phase. Placement opportunities for our department were minimal, but some courses in the college have better placement prospects. Despite this, our batch received internship opportunities from a reputed firm last year, and all students participated. Top roles in our course are available in the financial sector and related to taxation.
Infrastructure: The college construction is ongoing, and it is located in a remote area. Wi-Fi facilities were available in our department and laboratories, and the new classrooms were spacious. The library had a good collection of books and articles relevant to our discipline. The college hostel was average, and the quality of the food was acceptable. Limited medical facilities were arranged within the college.
Faculty: The teachers are the main assets of the college, being well-qualified and experienced. They deliver lectures with enthusiasm, and the curriculum and syllabus are up-to-date, preparing students for the industry. Exams are conducted each semester, with a minimum pass percentage of 50.
Other: I chose this course to pursue a profession in the field of accounting and taxation. I believe the college should attract more entrepreneurs and improve placement opportunities. Various events, including cultural festivals, college days, and department programs, are conducted each year.

Central University of Jammu is the best.
Placements: According to my experience, the course is well designed, and classmates or seniors are well-behaved. One of my seniors got a placement in Mumbai through this university. You have to do an internship during vacation. Because here attendance is mandatory at least 75 %. In June 2024, one of my friends did an internship in NIT Warangal, Telegram.
Infrastructure: If we talk about courses, courses are well designed. Classrooms are good. Benches are also good. Libraries are good; you will see a lot of books there. In your classroom, you will see a Wi-Fi connection. You will study on a smart board. Labs are good but not that much. In the university, we have a medical centre.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified or, you can say, experts in their subjects. Some teachers are very helpful. The teaching quality is also good. It explains the entire topic in a very simple manner. Your concepts will all be clear. The course curriculum is relevant. For industry readiness, you have to do some internship for practice. The pass percentage is about 80-85%.
Other: Every year, our university conducts a lot of extracurricular activities. Like in February, we can participate in the Udan fest, we can showcase our dance and singing. In November, we can participate in sports like athletics, badminton, an, badminton, and long jump, etc. In Onam, we can showcase different state-famous dishes.

Review of Central University of Jammu.
Placements: We have active placement preparations from the first year. While in the final year, we are very serious about it. Our placement trainers explain all the concepts understandably and with all the patience. The average salary package offered by the recruiters is around 4.2 LPA - 4.8 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college maintains a neat and hygienic campus with all the necessary facilities. Apart from studies, we may be able to participate in a lot of extracurricular activities to enhance our winning skills. We have served hygienic and nutritious meals, breakfast, and dinner.
Faculty: We have undergone a lot of tests and internals to attend the final semester examinations. We have strict and supportive teachers. We can't bunk even a single class. Our teachers patiently explain all the practical projects and clarify all our doubts about such projects.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy - Batch of 2028
Offered by Jammu College of Physiotherapy

Hey juniors, I hope it helps
Placements: When it comes to placements, it's largely dependent on the level of exposure and experience you have. However, the college itself has a low percentage of placements. I have seen students get jobs in both the government and private sectors, but that’s up to individual effort. The highest package offered is around 7 LPA in India, with the lowest at 3-4 LPA. You can work as a physiotherapist, pursue a master's in any field for better opportunities, or go into teaching, which offers multiple career paths.
Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, we have Wi-Fi and well-maintained labs and classrooms, as well as a library. However, I am disappointed with the hostel facilities. Despite the college being 23 years old, the hostel could be improved. The food is okay, though no non-veg options are available, and bringing non-veg into the hostel is not allowed. Hostel rooms lack flooring; you get an almirah, a table, chair, and bed without a mattress. You must buy your own curtains, and the walls could use better coloring, but you can manage as needed.
Faculty: The faculty is excellent, with qualified and knowledgeable teachers who have a good rapport with students. Teaching quality is 10/10, and they prepare students well for the industry. Since this is a physiotherapy college, you have a good chance to work and gain experience before moving on. We don’t have semester exams; instead, we have year-wise exams, which can be challenging, but the difficulty level is fair.
Other: I chose this college because I always wanted to be a doctor and help people. The internship facilities here are better than at CRC Srinagar. I would love to see improvements in the classrooms and hostel since we pay a lot. We celebrate only two festivals: Physiotherapy Day and Teacher's Day. I’m not sure about scholarships, but you can apply in the government sector. For extracurriculars, we have a cricket team and a badminton team for girls, which is great.
