The college has the best faculty, and beautiful environment with greenery.
Placements: I am pursuing integrated M.Sc. chemistry in this college. In my opinion, the chemistry department is one of the best departments, and it's faculty members are helpful. The interaction between students and teachers is excellent.
Infrastructure: This is a new university, and so the infrastructure is not much good. But I can say it's enough for a student. The construction is still going on on a large scale. In the coming 2 or 3 years, the college can provide good infrastructure. Labs are good.
Faculty: I can't say anything about other departments, but the faculty members in the chemistry department are awesome. Our HOD sir, Dr V. Shridharan, is a great person and has a humble personality. Other staff members are also good and have a lot of experience in teaching.
Other: The best thing is that you can feel the nature here because the campus is surrounded by greenery.

Our campus is very good with all the basic facilities.
Placements: None of the students from our batch has gone for placement because we are not in the final year. We have applied for internships in various universities. Our course was started in 2018, and currently, I am in the fourth sem. The course is five years of integrated M.Sc. Chemistry.
Infrastructure: Our campus has all the basic facilities. It has good labs and good equipment. Free Wi-Fi is given to all students. The library on the campus is good. We also have good classrooms. Hostels are also very good, and quality food is served to us. All the basic medical facilities are provided. All sports facilities are available.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are the best. They are very honest, knowledgeable, caring, patient and are kind personality. They engage students in learning and are having a good ability to develop a relationship with students. They are very helpful. The course curriculum makes us ready for industry.
Other: I chose chemistry because I like the subject, and it is very interesting. I like performing experiments in the lab.

Central University of Jammu is the best.
Placements: According to my experience, the course is well designed, and classmates or seniors are well-behaved. One of my seniors got a placement in Mumbai through this university. You have to do an internship during vacation. Because here attendance is mandatory at least 75 %. In June 2024, one of my friends did an internship in NIT Warangal, Telegram.
Infrastructure: If we talk about courses, courses are well designed. Classrooms are good. Benches are also good. Libraries are good; you will see a lot of books there. In your classroom, you will see a Wi-Fi connection. You will study on a smart board. Labs are good but not that much. In the university, we have a medical centre.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified or, you can say, experts in their subjects. Some teachers are very helpful. The teaching quality is also good. It explains the entire topic in a very simple manner. Your concepts will all be clear. The course curriculum is relevant. For industry readiness, you have to do some internship for practice. The pass percentage is about 80-85%.
Other: Every year, our university conducts a lot of extracurricular activities. Like in February, we can participate in the Udan fest, we can showcase our dance and singing. In November, we can participate in sports like athletics, badminton, an, badminton, and long jump, etc. In Onam, we can showcase different state-famous dishes.

Q:   Is Central University of Jammu Tier 1 or Tier 2?

A:

In India, there is no clear definition or consensus about the tier structure for universities. But Central University of Jammu would probably be regarded as Tier 2 based on a variety of sources and rankings.

The general knowledge of the tier system is broken down as follows:

Tier 1: These generally comprise a few National Institutes of Technology (NITs), a few Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs), a few well-known central institutions with a solid track record in academics and research, and the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

Tier 2: This more inclusive group may comprise some National Institutes of Technology (NITs), some state institutions, some private universities, and some central universities.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
