A:
{Source: BBA students & alumni}

Based on student reviews and feedback, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure with modern amenities, including Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms and libraries.

Faculty: Okay faculty, with some being more experienced and knowledgeable than others.

Curriculum: Relevant curriculum that covers essential topics, making students industry-ready.

Extracurricular Activities: Regular events, fests, and sports activities.

Placements: Unfortunately, there are no placements guaranteed, and students must find internships and jobs themselves.

Internship Opportunities: None provided by the university, leaving students to seek out their own opportunities.

Food: Mess food is decent, but not consistently good.

Campus Life: Good campus life with a mix of relaxation and academic engagement.

Value for Money: While the infrastructure and faculty are decent, the lack of placements and internship opportunities might deter some students from considering BBA at CUK as a worthwhile investment.

Overall, while the programme has its strengths, the absence of placements and internship opportunities is a significant drawback. Students seeking a strong career path might want to consider alternative options. However, those interested in pursuing higher studies (MBA) or other certifications might still find the programme valuable.

Very good infrastructure.
Placements: Actually, our institution offers several placement opportunities for various disciplines. However, they do not give any placements for the M.Sc. Geology programme. They provide internships in many firms around India, and they assist us in working alongside numerous companies.
Infrastructure: Our university has a large infrastructure and sophisticated lab facilities, which will be very beneficial for your study. The hostel facilities are great. The sole disadvantage of the hostel is the lack of laundry facilities.
Faculty: All of the teachers who teach us here are excellent, and they provide a lot of assistance to the students. This curriculum is obviously relevant because it is job-oriented. Our curriculum is extremely beneficial in preparing students for careers in the industry. Our course has an 85 percent pass rate.
Other: Since this course is about studying the earth, which is one of my favourite subjects, I'm really enjoying it and it's very useful here at this university Campus has a large area filled with lakes, dunes, viewpoints, parks, gymnasiums, and so on. There are also numerous extracurricular activities.

Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Students did not get placed just after post-graduation as we have to give exams like NET, GATE, SET, BARC, etc., to get either PhD or some job. The salary package offered may vary depending on the job you are in. Everyone student does an internship because it is a mandatory part of our curriculum. The top roles offered in our course, as per me, are scientist or professor.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our university is in a very large area. All the departments have plants and trees in them, which makes them more beautiful. Our college provides a free Wi-Fi facility, well-furnished labs, and a well-stocked library. The mess and canteen serve hygienic food. The taste of the food is acceptable. There is a health center, and it is free for us.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good and helpful. They are biased sometimes. They are highly knowledgeable. Their teaching style is good. They give us proper explanations and examples. The course curriculum is relevant, and it made us ready for competitive exams. Semester exams are not so tough.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: We don't get placement in this course, not even in Bombay. For getting placed, we need to clear competitive exams, which is not easy. That's why many students opt for higher studies in India or abroad, such as Ph.D. or postdoc, and a few get research assistant jobs. Top recruiting companies are ONGC, CIL etc. We can even clear the UPSC geoscientist exam, which is specifically for geology students. The packages vary depending on your post.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but we, the boys, had to face some problems, but it was adjustable. Our departments were really beautiful and even the classrooms, and I still miss those days. We get free Wi-Fi. Labs are well furnished, and the library is fully stocked, and we can get all the books there. The mess food is not much good, but still, we managed. We get free medical facilities in our campus health centre.
Faculty: The faculty members were good, but sometimes, they were biased. But they were knowledgeable and helpful. They always encouraged us for a good future. The teaching quality was also good, and we got to know more about the earth, and it was interesting. The course was relevant, and the semester exams were not so tough.

Campus life is filled with beautiful memories of sunset and sunrise.
Placements: No placement cell for geology courses. 2-3 students got placed with the help of faculty members. All the students got internships in different institutions, labs or industries. Given good opportunity for internship, field trip and seminars conducted by the university and sending the students to other national and state seminar for paper presentation.
Infrastructure: The labs were okay-ish not that good but it's still getting better not yet fully developed. The classrooms are well maintained and projectors, digital education is preferred. Library has a very good collection of books related to geology. Hostel's infrastructure is well maintained along with cleanliness. The food is okay for anyone who has already been in hostel life but one can get easily accustomed to it.
Faculty: Teachers were really knowledgeable along with their teaching quality. The curriculum is relevant with field trip and internships to make us get a better idea of research work going on. The semester exams are average and was easier for me to pass them. 40% is passing mark.

It is a good college, but the competition is less as it is developing. The campus is beautiful.
Placements: Academically good and average students from our course got placed. Same salary packages are offered to every student, and students do internships. Our college provides government and private sector jobs to students. Some top companies visit our university for placements.
Infrastructure: Rooms are good here, and the food served in the mess is also well. Nowadays, they are serving both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. There are a health centre, three canteens, a bakery and stationery. The library has huge space, and a variety of books are available in it. There is a huge playground for some of the sports.
Faculty: Some of the teachers here are excellent, but they are available only for study-related issues. However, there are friendly sirs. The quality of teaching is well, and teachers are from all over the country. They use different types of teaching methods.
Other: There are some issues with food and hostel. Other than that, you can manage. Our college conducts co-curricular activities.

Geology is a Branch in which you have to combine all of the subjects related to bio and geology. But Applied geology is specialization in which you have to only focus on geology. It is a specialization in that course. And geology is a course. Best of luck.
