If you are searching for the best vocational course plus a fantastic college life, you can join.
Placements: About more than 50 percent of the students are placed from our college. Most my seniors are placed in top companies like TCS, Cognizant, Global gateways, Paddle Consulting, EY, etc. Some of them are even placed in semi-government projects. The average package is 600,000 per annum. Internships are compulsory after second semester, and the fourth semester is just internship for 90 days; no other subjects are there. Those should be acquired by students itself using their networking skills. The job roles after completing the course are junior management consultant, marketing consultant, HR manager, BDA, business analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The department is located in two buildings. Both buildings have labs . We have both Android and iOS-friendly software. There are 7 classrooms, each equipped with projectors, whiteboards and Wi-Fi. There are washroom facilities for men, ladies and physically disabled students. There are about 14 hostels in Cusat; in each hostel, the mess is run by a student committee so the food quality depends upon the cooks they appoint. There is a mess hall, auditorium hall, study hall, shuttle court, and water coolers in my hostel, Anaswara. We can also access the hostel Wi-Fi.
Faculty: There are about 7 permanent teachers and few guest faculties in my department, which is known as DDUKK. The teachers are all industry-experienced teachers; they are PhD holders and worked atleast more than 3 years in relevant industries. So they are very approachable and insightful. The course curriculum contains project management, erp, financial management, consultancy, business communication, entrepreneurship development, marketing, etc which is very relevant. We have two internships during the course and need to do two certification from outside so this course definitely makes you industry-ready in 2 years. The semester is moderately difficult but if you put some time into it, its quite easy too. In my class of 23 students, only two failed but they could make it in their makeup exams.
Other: I chose this course because it is a vocational course. By the end of two years, you will be industry-ready. There are a lot of events like dishna, astra and kurukshetra (sports) , sargam (arts) , talent weeks, etc. happening. The college will always have one program or another. We also have clubs like NSS, consultancy clubs, IT club and literary clubs.
