DU was recently ranked #328 in the 'University' category by QS World Ranking 2025 and 11 by NIRF in 2023. The university is not ranked for any major course such as BSc, however, it consistently gets ranked for the 'University' category by NIRF over the past years. The duration of both programmes is three years. Admission to these courses was subject to merit in Class 12 till 2021. However, starting in 2022, admission for all the  UG courses at DU is based on CUET  (conducted by NTA). The criteria for BCom (Hons) admission at DU is as follows:

• Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam
• Have a valid score in the CUET (Common University Entrance Test)
• The candidate must be a citizen of India
• Candidate must have not crossed the age of 25 years

A. The aspirants of BCom and BCom (Hons) are required to apply for CUET UG before registering on the DU portal. After registration for the exam, students must pay the registration fee which is as follows:

Candidates also have to pay an additional application fee which is charged on account of DU CSAS registration after the result for CUET UG is out. It is INR 250 for General category students and INR 100 for SC/ST/PWD/EWS. In addition, there is a cancellation fee of INR 1000 for students who wish to cancel their enrolment. 

Students seeking admission in BCom at Delhi University must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board. Hence, you are eligible to apply for BCom course at DU even if you have scored less than 60% in your Class 12. However, the selection criteria for BCom admissions at Delhi University is obtaining a valid score in CUET UG followed by CSAS counselling. Admissions to the BCom course offered at the university are solely dependent on the candidates clearing the cut-off released by the university. In case a candidate is unable to clear the cut-off prescribed by the university, they can check out other colleges offering online BCom courses

CUET UG 2025 exam will be conducted tentatively in third week of May 2025. The mode of examination will be CBT (Cmputer Based Test). NTA will release the official notification for CUET UG exam date before the release of notification. Candidates will be able to know exam details through CUET UG information bulletin. NTA will conduct CUET UG 2025 exam in multiple phases depending upon the number of candidates registering for the exam. Registered candidates will know the exact CUET UG exam on release of the hall ticket. Candidates will have to report at the alloted exam centre on the day of the examination. The exam will be held in two to three slots each day depending upon the subject combinations chosen by the candidate.

DU admission for 2025 will open soon. Currently, the applications are open for PhD programme till Dec 10, 2024. Admission in Delhi University is based on CUET-UG and CUET-PG scores. Below are the upcoming events for DU admission:

• The CUET PG registration process 2025 for admission to PG courses is expected to begin during the last week of Dec 2024, tentatively.
• The CUET UG registration process 2025 for admission to UG courses will commence tentatively during the last week of Feb 2025. The CUET UG 2025 exam dates will be announced soon.

DU University registrations via CUET usually begins in February every year. Soon after the release of the notification, the CUET application process commences online. Candidates willing to appear for CUET 2025 exam must ensure to fill out the application form online when released.
