Do not go for university,unless there is no hope
Placements: The placement depends on the quality of the knowledge you represent to the firm. HCL and Infosys are mostly heard to be recruiting for the IT groups, hence it is excellent for the IT students. Whereas, there is a struggle for the civil, mechanical and electrical branches. As heard by our seniors in M.tech, I believe we should be lucky to have a company visiting for M.Tech freshers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite impressive if you leave out the non-working ACs. The labs have sufficient equipment and are used as per the requirements. The library is very impressive as they have all the books and also you can find the e-books in the digital library. But, the hostel rooms are very congested and you will need to manage in the hostel. The canteen is good enough and available up till 3 AM here.
Faculty: The course curriculum is extensive and it is easy to gain the required knowledge. The only problem is the attendance as you have to maintain it to 75% else you will be debarred and then it means your summer holidays just went to waste. Then, a pretty big fine to pay for it as well as you would have to attend the classes of the subject you are debarred in during the whole summer vacation. The faculty team here is quite supportive.

Honest review about the University:
Teaching: In terms of teaching, Galgotias are doing average. They hire teaching faculty from IT Industry and few from JNU, DCE and NITs as well. But the thing is they are more concerned in attendance and completing curriculum instead of sharing their experience and knowledge with the student. You will get most of the topics from the syllabus to do your assignments. When you will ask for any solution related to your study. They will be like, "You guys are doing Masters here, go and research yourself".
Only good thing is Resources and Study Material provided by them.
Placement: Being very honest, all the advertisements, promotions and marketing related to Galgotias Placements are 101% fake. As Only BPOs came there for placements. For MBA, most of the BPO Companies from Delhi-NCR came with the salary package of Rs. 1.8 Lakh Per Annum to Rs. 3.4 Lakh Per Annum.
For B.Tech and M.Tech, the scenario was same. All companies who came were BPO with the salary package of Rs. 1.8 Lakh Per Annum to Rs. 3.0 Lakh Per Annum.
The Worst Part is: Galgotias Management used to increase their Curriculum Fee each year, even it’s a Deemed University and everything is included in your fee. But 1 week before the exam, they will ask you to pay for Examination Fee of 5k, failing which you won’t be allowed to sit in the exam. So add 20k in your course fee while calculating. They don’t care about your career as well. After receiving 500 rupees for each paper, they prepare results. Most of the students in B.Tech have 4-5 re-sitting papers when I was in college.
Overall: I don’t suggest to take admission in Galgotias University. You will end up paying more. They ask for minimum Rs. 1000 for each cultural activity and those who will not participate have to pay Rs. 1500 at the end of the session.

GEEE 2018 is going to be held on Friday, 15 June 2018.
The Online Application forms are already available from Friday, 15 December 2017.
Last Date to apply is 31st May 2018.
