A+ grade by NAAC and placement in CS/IT is increasing year over year.
Placements: A total of 75% of students, according to previous data, are placed. The highest package is about INR 12 lacs, the lowest is INR 3 lacs and the average is about INR 6 lacs which is quite normal. The top recruiting companies are IBM, Accenture, Cognizant, etc. They are hiring for a software engineer role. The internship opportunities are not as good; only 5–10 get them. Here, only a wise student is required to study as per the given facility.
Infrastructure: The facility and infrastructure of this course are quite good. Talking about food quality, the medical facilities are quite decent and for sports lovers, this college is quite excellent as it gives you all kinds of facilities, like a stadium and different courts in which you can practice all the games you want to.
Faculty: Here, one thing I loved very much was the way the teachers taught. They are well qualified and knowledgeable, and they are very helpful to students. In some areas, I think the curriculum is not relevant but it is good. According to me, it is more encouraging for students to pursue industrial studies.

My Educational Odyssey: A Review of GJU.
Placements: Students can be placed in semester 6. There are hundreds of companies that you visit during your placement. A complete list is available at thapar.edu. The list includes JP Morgan, Arcesium, IND Money, and others. The details of the highest package are given in the list on the website. 80–90% is the placement ratio.
Infrastructure: There are often fests organized. Some of the most popular are FROSH, which takes place every year after new admissions. Then there's Saturnalia, Thapar's annual celebration, and it's crazy. Thapar owns the CL Nalanda Library, the largest library in Asia. The library has every book you need. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned, and the infrastructure is very good. There are occasional sports events with decent odds. Come back, Rotaract, Frosh.
Faculty: I am passionate about computer science and coding, and I have a good teacher-student relationship. There are about 40 faculty members for 100 students. Frequent tests. Each semester consists of two classes: MST and EST. It can be really annoying. It's not hard to get through if you read without stacking.

The placement scenario at the college is disappointing.
Placements: The college placement process has been disappointing. Students feel that the support and opportunities provided are inadequate. There seems to be a lack of effective connections with the industry and sufficient preparation for job interviews. Overall, the experience has not met our expectations.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is commendable, with well-maintained facilities and resources. However, the hostel accommodation is a significant issue, as not all students are allotted a place. This situation creates challenges for those who rely on campus housing.
Faculty: Some faculty members are highly knowledgeable and supportive, providing excellent guidance to students. However, others lack engagement and teaching effectiveness, which can hinder the learning experience. There is an odd-even semester system, and students who receive reappear exams suffer a lot.
Other: No fests, no sports meet. Some faculty members are highly knowledgeable and supportive, providing excellent guidance to students. However, others lack engagement and teaching effectiveness, which can hinder the learning experience. There is an odd-even semester system, and students who receive reappear exams suffer a lot.

Community at Its Core: GJU Social Engagement Review.
Placements: Placement starts from 6th Sem. There are 200+ companies for CSE students like google, amazon and microsoft. The highest package is 1.7 crores, an average of 6 lira per year. Almost every student complete a degree. My plan after graduation is to give my best to the company.
Infrastructure: Many festivals have fun, contests and games. There are about 5 such festivals in a month. We have every book in the library, the best for our topic. There is a lot of competition for every sport, if we are better in the sport, we can be higher. There are student-run robotics, Chemistry and many other clubs.
Faculty: I love computer Science and chose this course. This is a very interesting topic. The faculty-student ratio is 35: 1. Faculty must have a Ph.D. or Masters in the subjects they teach. There are bimonthly exams and semester exams. The exam papers are medium to tough but continuous study will not give much effect.

Hostels will not be alloted to everyone.
Placements: Placement is bad at our university. But it is best for the printing branch of engineering. Almost 90% of students get the placement. But in other branches, it is hardly 20–30%. The lowest package offered is 3 LPA and the highest is 12 LPA for CSE and its branches. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, Samsung and TCS. You have to search for jobs and internships outside, like off campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very nice; it is well built. Hostels are also decent but the number of hostels is less according to the requirement. Wi-Fi, labs and libraries are all good and well maintained. In your first year, you will get the hostel but after that, you have to come in the top 6-7 in the class to get the hostel, which means out of 70 students, only 7 will get the hostel. Mess food is okay. It is not so bad or so good. There are 4 meals, so you can eat anywhere after paying 38 rupees. Medical facilities are good, and doctors are always present there. Sports facilities are really good, as you can play any game, but the craze there is cricket. A gym is also available in the sports complex.
Faculty: The course is mainly focused on theory but not on practice. Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable and their teaching skills are not bad (not all teachers). You can't depend on the teacher to teach everything, and its better to start on YouTube. The course curriculum is focused on theory only. You have to develop a skill of your own. Semester exams are easy but checking is very strict and it becomes very difficult to score even 7.5 cgpa. And the criteria to sit in placement is 7 CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because I thought it would be best to earn a lot of money in this growing sector. The best thing about this course is that you don't need to depend on the college teacher to learn anything; instead, there are lots of platforms that teach way better than them. If our course is more focused on making us industry-ready, it would be better. There is no beg fest or event at this university. Connectivity is about 3 km from the railway station and 2 km from the bus stand.
