It is a good university for students.
Placements: I am currently at the starting of 2nd year. I heard from seniors that companies come with an enormous salary package to select students. About 60% of the students got placed for campus placements. They prepare us for placements.
Infrastructure: I have opted for a hostel room. There are about 4 hostels for boys and 4 for girls. I reside in the boys' hostel. The room is big in bh3, then bh2 and bh1. There are PGs available, and Rs. 30 per person is the rate per day. Hostel seats are few.
Faculty: There are about 12 lecturers in the course who have a wide amount of knowledge to give to the students. They are widely qualified, and all had done post-graduation. They are in their 40's, and some teachers hold industry experience.

GJUST is the best for the ones who do not want to spend too much money on study.
Placements: Placement is the best in case of printing and packaging stream. Various renowned companies like Essel Propack, ITC, Kodak, and Uflex have visited the campus for placements. The alumni network is so robust that the placement record generally goes up to 90%.
Infrastructure: An awesome, lush green campus of 375 acres with all modern amenities that a private college holds. Excellent infrastructure. The auditorium is one of best in the country. It is too economical for a student. Apart from this, the university is also providing Earn While You Learn policy.
Faculty: The faculty is the best when it comes to studies. All the teaching faculty members are experienced and PhD holders. Apart from academics, various cultural events are also organised to improve the personal forte of a student. It is one of the universities to get funds directly from World Bank.
Other: An awesome college with excellent infrastructure that is not going to make a hole in your pocket. It is affordable by all means and the best for the personal and academic growth of a person. All the labs are perfectly equipped to deal with daily research work.

I got dissatisfied because of good placements in 2015.
Placements: 20% students were placed in our course. There were many companies who placed many students. 30% students got internship from our course. Some got internship in infotech companies or some were placed in IT companies. The highest average package offered was 60%.
Infrastructure: There were facilities like Wi-Fi. And there were labs and classrooms furnished. Quality of food was okay. And there were 2 canteens which provided good food for students and teachers. Games were also played by students like cricket, basketball, football etc.
Faculty: Some teachers were very helpful. And some were rude in behaviour. They encouraged students to attend the college. And also help them understand what they wanted to. They helped students in their exam time very much. Teachers make students ready for future.
Other: Fests are organised every year. And students take part in them very enthusiastically. Surrounding is very good. And scholarship is also provided and events are organises with full excitement.

Q:   Is GJUST a government or a private university?

A:

Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology earlier known as Guru Jambheshwar University was established as a state university by an Act of the Legislature of the State of Haryana in 1995. Being a state university, the fee for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses is not very high. Even if the candidates feel that the fee is high, they can apply for the various scholarships offered by the university to the eligible candidates. A limited number of scholarships are available so apply early as soon as possible.

Q:   Is MCA at GJUST worth the investment?

A:
{Source: MCA students & alumni}

Here's a summary of the key points:

* Teaching Quality: Most teachers were helpful, but 23 out of 50 were rude. Teaching quality was okay, and the course curriculum was up-to-date. However, semester exams were average, and online studies during COVID-19 were challenging.
* Placements: 30% of students got placed, with the highest package being INR6 LPA and the lowest being INR2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Quinbay and Cloud Certitude. A significant number of students faced difficulties due to the mismanagement of placements caused by COVID-19.
* Infrastructure: The hostel was good, with facilities such as Wi-Fi, clean water, and clean floors. The canteen was nearby, but food quality was not great. Students who did not live in hostels preferred to eat outside. The library was vast, and classrooms were well-maintained.
* Campus Life: The campus was lively, with many events organized, including visits by famous personalities. Scholarship processes could be improved.

Overall, while MCA at GJUST may not be perfect, it still offers a good educational experience. Here are the pros and cons to consider:

Pros:

* Good teaching quality (except for a few teachers)
* Up-to-date course curriculum
* Decent placements
* Well-maintained infrastructure

Cons:

* Rude teachers (minority)
* Average semester exams
* Mismanagement of placements during COVID-19
* Limited recruitment opportunities
* Food quality issues in the canteen
* Needs improvement in scholarship processes

If you're considering pursuing MCA at GJUST, weigh these factors carefully before making an informed decision.
