IP University BBA LLB Admission 2023

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University BBA LLB admission to eligible applicants is offered on the basis of CLAT scores. Further, shortlisted candidates undergo IPU CET Counselling, conducted by the University for allocation of seats as per their choice of college. BBA LLB is offered for a duration of five years, comprising 10 semesters by 13 affiliated institutes of IPU. The total seats offered by IP University including all the affiliated colleges is 1,060 and the total fee for this five-year integrated programme is in the range of INR 4.45 lakh to INR 5.28 lakh. Interested candidates can check out the basic eligibility criteria for the BBA LLB progamme in the below table before applying:

IP University BBA LLB Application Process 2023

The step-wise IP University application process is represented below, candidates seeking admission can apply online by paying an application fee of INR 1,200.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (www.ipu.ac.in) and click on the 'Admission' tab and further click on 'Online Admission Form' from the drag-down menu.

Step 2: Read the instructions carefully, accept the declaration and click on 'Start' to proceed with the registration step of the application process.

Step 3: Select BBA LLB from the programme drop-down menu and register with candidate's name, email ID and contact number. Further, click on 'Non-CET' courses because BBA LLB comes under the 'Non-CET' category courses.

Step 4: Candidates will receive an application sequence number, user ID and password for future logins and a link to the application form to proceed with further steps.

Step 5: In the first stage of the application form, enter personal details, such as name, parents' name, age, nationality, etc. Also, enter the present address information along with the permanent address.

Step 6: Fill in the essential qualification details, including the year of passing and the school/ institution attended.

Step 7: Upload the required set of documents and pay the prescribed application fee via debit card/ credit card/ net banking.

Review of Fairfield Institute of Management College.

Placements: The percentage of students raised by my college is 70 to 80%. College provides more than 50% of placements and helps us to get internships. Many more external experiences are provided. In our law career, it will help us to get more cases and drafts. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. More than 70% of students get internships through Fairfield Institute of Management and Technology.

Infrastructure: Facilities are provided by this college. Air-conditioned rooms are available. We have a healthy environment for students to study. It has a library and book banks are available. Classrooms are quite big and airy. Parking space is provided by this college. The food quality is very nice. This college has many sports and games.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. All are Ph.D. holders. They help us to understand the concepts very neatly and easily. They provide us with the subject and notes. It makes students industry-ready. The passing percentage is 33% for the internal exam of 40 marks. We have to get at least 12 months for the external exam. We have to get 33 marks out of 100 to pass in the hall. We have to sit in the internal as well as external to pass the semester. It is compulsory.

Other: I chose this course because of the demand for corporate lawyers in our society. It provides good packages in many of the companies and I would like to improve in it. There is a bus stand nearby this college where we can use DTC buses. If we have a personal vehicle, there is plenty of parking on the premises of the college. Metros are not available nearby. The nearest metro is Dwarka sector 21, which is at least 4 to 5 KM away. Buses are provided by this college and are free to the metro end from the metro. Fests and events are very well and nice.

Absolutely satisfied with the college.

Placements: The college organized every year placement opportunities for the students. The lowest package in my course is 2L and the highest goes to 9L per annum. The top law firms and companies come to the college every year to recruit students. Many students have been selected for internships and placements every year the students have selected on the basis of their skills.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is quite good. The college has Wi-Fi on campus, there are also computer labs for the students and a library for both law and MCIT students. The college also provides hostel facilities to the students who live far away from the college.

Faculty: The facilities of the college are quite good and supportive towards the students they are well qualified to have done Masters in their respective subjects. The college also conducts semester exams every semester which is difficult but a maximum of students can pass the exams.

College review and placement review.

Placements: It should work on increasing the average package offered. The placement cell can also try and get in touch with more reputable law firms and lawyers if I talk about my course specifically since I am not aware of the other courses. Secondly, internships are a great kickstart for your career, but when it comes to internships, the college faculty doesn't really seem interested or trying their best in assisting students there. Especially in the first internships of most of the students, they don't have any proper guidance as to how to get a good internship. So yes, they should focus on that.

Infrastructure: First of all, I would like to suggest that there should be an open Wi-Fi system for the students on campus. Speaking strictly about MAIMS, they should add more books and expand the library like the one they have in MAIT. As for the classrooms, sports, and medical facilities, I have no complaints or any input for that.

Faculty: One thing that could be really beneficial for the students is if they get more exposure to the practical aspects of their field. It will make the students industry-ready if they know beforehand or have the basic idea of the work culture they will later be dealing with.

Placements: In the recent LL.B. Batch of JEMTEC Greater Noida, about 60-70% of students were placed with a salary package that ranges from 3-8 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Khaitan & Co, Trilegal, HDFC Legal, etc., visit the college for placements. Around 50-60% of students secured internships in organizations like Luthra and Luthra, AZB & Partners, and in high courts. Infrastructure: JEMTEC facilitates LL.B. students with moot courts, spacious classrooms with audio-visual aids, a well-stocked library with legal databases, and campus-wide Wi-Fi. Decent college for law students.

Placements: There are no placements for law here. Last year also only 1 student got selected from LL.B. There are placements for other courses but not for law. Apart from placement, the college is nice. The teachers are really hardworking, some of them may be arrogant but overall they are nice.

Infrastructure: The size of the college is too small. It is just one building, that's it. It is so small that there is no playground. For every other event, be it sports or college fest, they need to hire some place for it. They mostly go for a sports complex which is nearby. Also, there is no hostel facility available. The college itself is the size of a hostel.

Faculty: The faculty is really hardworking, though some of them are very rude and arrogant, but some of them are nice. This is everywhere, I believe. The course curriculum is relevant to practice in the real world, as the law is all about that only. We have exams every month like UTs or minor or major. The difficulty level is moderate.

Other: I chose this college as at that time this was the only good choice I had, but after coming to the college I realized I should have gone to some other college. Though the ranking of GIBS is among the top 3 for the law, the crowd is not good as some villages are nearby.
