GGSIPU B.J.M.C. Courses & Fees 2024

• BJMC 2024 registrations are open and the last date to apply has been extended to May 25, 2024. Aspirants can visit the GGSIPU official website to apply.
• The IPU CET 2024 Counselling will begin on Jun 5, 2024 for admission to BJMC course.

IP University BA (JMC) Admission 2023

IPU offers a full-time BA Journalism and Mass Communication (JMC) programme for a duration of three years. The programme comprises six semesters and is offered by 16 affiliated colleges of GGSIPU. A few of the affiliated colleges of GGSIPU also offer this course in second (evening) shift. The annual seat intake offered by GGSIPU for BA (JMC) programme is 2,070 students. IPU offers admission to BA (JMC) programme based on IPU CET*, followed by seat allotment process via IPU CET Counselling. *The pattern of IPU CET conducted for BA (JMC) admission at affiliated colleges of IP University is explained below. Candidates must note that all these subjects will comprise questions up to the Class 12 level only.

IP University BA (JMC) Application Process 2022

The step-wise IP University application process is represented below, candidates seeking admission can apply online by paying an application fee of INR 1,200.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (www.ipu.ac.in) and click on the 'Admission' tab and further click on 'Online Admission Form' from the drag-down menu.

Step 2: Read the instructions carefully, accept the declaration and click on 'Start' to proceed with the registration step of the application process.

Step 3: Select BA (JMC) from the programme drop-down menu and register with candidate's name, email ID and contact number. Further, click on 'CET' courses because BA (JMC) comes under the 'CET' category courses.

Step 4: Candidates will receive an application sequence number, user ID and password for future logins and a link to the application form to proceed with further steps.

Step 5: In the first stage of the application form, enter personal details, such as name, parents' name, age, nationality, etc. Also, enter the present address information along with the permanent address.

Step 6: Fill in the essential qualification details, including the year of passing and the school/ institution attended. 

Step 7: Upload the required set of documents and pay the prescribed application fee via debit card/ credit card/ net banking.
