The IPU CET 2024 online registrations are open for Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance and Counselling (ADCGC) and the last date to apply has been extended to Apr 15, 2024. Further, IPU CET 2024 exam will be conducted from Apr 27, 2024 to May 14, 2024.

IP University Admission 2023: PG Diploma, Advanced Diploma

In addition to UG, PG and doctoral level programmes, IPU also offers a range of PG diploma and Advanced diploma programmes for the students. Apart from PG Diploma in Disaster Management, the remaining courses are offered in a full-time mode for a duration of one year. PG Diploma in Disaster Management is offered in both full-time and part-time modes for a duration of one year and six months, respectively. These diploma courses are divided into two broad categories based on the admission mode, including merit-based and CET-based. For more details around these courses, refer to the table below:

IP University Application Process 2022

The step-wise IP University application process is represented below, candidates seeking admission can apply online by paying an application fee of INR 1,200.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (www.ipu.ac.in) and click on the 'Admission' tab and further click on 'Online Admission Form' from the drag-down menu.

Step 2: Read the instructions carefully, accept the declaration and click on 'Start' to proceed with the registration step of the application process.

Step 3: Select course from the programme drop-down menu and register with candidate's name, email ID and contact number.

Step 4: Candidates will receive an application sequence number, user ID and password for future logins and a link to the application form to proceed with further steps.

Step 5: In the first stage of the application form, enter personal details, such as name, parents' name, age, nationality, etc. Also, enter the present address information along with the permanent address.

Step 6: Fill in the essential qualification details, including the year of passing and the school/ institution attended. Also, enter details around the entrance exam score.

Step 7: Upload the required set of documents and pay the prescribed application fee via debit card/ credit card/ net banking.

It is an institution to make you industry-ready.

Placements: Around 90% of the students who took the course got placed. The highest salary package offered was around 8 LPA and the average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies were HCL, Marelli, and Tech Mahindra. Moreover, the MNCs had good hiring. The top roles offered were embedded software developer and embedded design engineer.

Infrastructure: There were air-conditioned classrooms with projectors and smart labs. There was one PC for two students. The library was well-equipped with books and journals. The hostel had big rooms and shared bathrooms. The mess was located along with the hostel. The food served was the best I ever had. The playground was fairly big.

Faculty: Faculty members were the best. They were helpful and taught the basics of the course. They are project engineers who teach students too. The placement coordinator was also very helpful. The course is good but could require some changes to the subjects. The exams are held online and are objective type. The pass percentage is 60%.

I am satisfied with the placements but can it can be improved by inviting more companies.

Placements: Out of 100 students in our course, almost 90 students are got placed. Almost 10 students were not placed because they opted for the education gap of 4 years. Top recruiting companies were Honeywell and General Electric. Almost 90% of the students get placed in centre PG diploma in embedded systems, and design in top courses. Even the placement coordinator was also not appropriate. He does not know how to deal with students.

Infrastructure: The campus was a rented centre, so the infrastructure was poor. Even the washrooms, classrooms and everything was poor. There was no internet facility.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college were fine, but the lab assistants were not good at all in helping or clearing doubts and supporting students. The course curriculum was excellent as a lot of new things were there to learn, and especially it is according to our market which industry seeks to.

Other: I opted for this course because embedded software was one of the emerging fields, which contains a combination of hardware and software knowledge.

Review of PGDITISS from the CDAC, Pune.

Placements: CDAC was offering good placements opportunities to its students. At our college, 30–40% of the students gets placed in our course. The average package offered for our course was between 4-6 LPA. The top recruiting companies at the college were IBM, Accenture, KPMG, Deloitte, etc. The top roles offered at the college were associate, project head, relationship manager, etc.

Infrastructure: CDAC has a well-maintained and developed infrastructure for our course. The campus of the college was pretty big and beautiful. Wi-Fi, labs, libraries, canteens, etc. were available for the students. The entire campus was secured by the CCTV camera. The hostel facility was not available for the students.

Faculty: The faculty of the CDAC was highly qualified and knowledgeable. All the teachers were helpful and supportive of each and every student. Teachers were making us understand all the methods in an easy way. The course curriculum of the college was relevant and made the students industry-ready. Semester exams at the college were not hard to pass.

Top recruitment companies are Adani Power, Vedanta Power, Torrent Power, RE Power, Tata Power and many others. All placed students got an internship. The top role offered is an executive trainee.

Infrastructure: Our college offers post-graduation diploma course in Power Plant and renewable energy. In our college, there are lots of facilities like air-conditioned classrooms, air-conditioned mess, labs and the library. Quality of food is good. Menu of food can be changed according to students.

Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful, well-qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. The course is highly relevant, and I recommend this course to all. It makes students industry-ready. All the teachers are from Power Plants. It offers industrial visits to many power plants.

Other: I have chosen this course because my father recommended this to me. The best thing about this course is it provides basic and necessary knowledge about the course. Everything about this college is good in every manner. Time to time seminars and conferences are held in our college.

Placements: I did a course in advance computing. Almost 70% of the students in our course were placed through campus placements. Top recruiting companies are Nokia, Century Link, TCS, Tech Mahindra, BMW, Ericsson, ITC Infotech, Capgemini, and Accenture.

Infrastructure: The campus is lush green and offers a peaceful environment. The campus is on the ring road, so there is easy connectivity. The campus has supercomputer. The campus has an affordable canteen for students. They make super computers for the rest of the organisations in the country. It is a government college.

Faculty: Teachers here were extremely knowledgeable. They were extremely professional. They knew how to handle the pressure. They were extremely helpful. The ambience was very soothing for someone new. The course curriculum was very firm in order to keep students occupied.

Other: The best thing is the knowledge you get before getting in MNCs.

Yes, you need to give IPU CET exam for taking admission in any undergraduate or post graduate in GGSIPU . Admission is based on rank in CET exam . Eligibility is minimum 50% in 12th standard.
