IPU BPT Eligibility & Highlights 2024

IPU offers a full-time Bachelor Physiotherapy (BPT) programme for four-and-a-half years. The programme is offered by the University via its two affiliated colleges Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Physiotherapy and ISIC Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences with an annual seat intake of 60 and 50 seats, respectively. IPU offers admission to the BPT programme based on IPU CET*, followed by the seat allotment process via IPU CET Counselling. Candidates can check out the BPT eligibility requirements in the below table:

BPT	Passed Class 12 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology provided that the candidate has passed in each subject separately along with English (core/ elective/ functional) as a compulsory subject

*The pattern of IPU CET conducted for BPT admission at affiliated colleges of IP University is explained below. Candidates must note that all these subjects will comprise questions up to the Class 12 level only.

IPU BPT Fees 2024

IP University BPT Admission 2024: How to Apply?

The step-wise IP University application process is represented below, candidates seeking admission can apply online by paying an application fee of INR 1,200.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (www.ipu.ac.in) and click on the 'Admission' tab and further click on 'Online Admission Form' from the drag-down menu.

Step 2: Read the instructions carefully, accept the declaration and click on 'Start' to proceed with the registration step of the application process.

Step 3: Select BPT from the programme drop-down menu and register with candidate's name, email ID and contact number. Further, click on 'CET' courses because BPT comes under the 'CET' category courses.

Step 4: Candidates will receive an application sequence number, user ID and password for future logins and a link to the application form to proceed with further steps.

Step 5: In the first stage of the application form, enter personal details, such as name, parents' name, age, nationality, etc. Also, enter the present address information along with the permanent address.

Step 6: Fill in the essential qualification details, including the year of passing and the school/ institution attended.

Step 7: Upload the required set of documents and pay the prescribed application fee via debit card/ credit card/ net banking.

I will recommend you to take admission in ISCI.

Placements: ISIC Institute of Rehabiliation Science provide good placement opportunities to students and many companies visit campus. Maximum package of BPT go around 20 LPA and average package is near about 6 LPA which is good for freshers to join. Various data on college website.

Infrastructure: ISCI Institute of Rehabiliation Science have good Hostel and pretty decent facilities and good infrastructure as well. Wi-Fi connection is good on certain location such as library and Exception and computer center but in Entire college connection is poor.

Faculty: ISCI Institute of Rehabilitation Science has pre defined curriculum which is available on website. The exams of college are not very difficult if you gone through the books and the notes provided by the teacher or various faculty members of college.

I am satisfied with college.

Placements: Our college provides ample placements. It also depends on your skills and the marks you have scored. Many private hospitals like Appolo, Max, and government hospitals like Safdarjung, etc., visit the campus for placements. The college is best for internships and everybody gets internships. Roles offered are as doctor job, in private clinics, as a full-time doctor in government hospitals, etc.

Infrastructure: This college has an excellent infrastructure, and we have air-conditioned classrooms with AI technology boards. Library is equipped with all the books you need and is fully furnished. The college has Airtel Wi-Fi on the entire campus which provides good speed. Food in the canteen or mess is awesome especially coffee and pasta, and are very hygienic. Hostel facilities are awesome like we have 24 hrs water supply, electricity, Wi-Fi, etc.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very qualified. All the teachers in college teachers or guest teachers all are doctors so they can teach us with their precious experience from the field. They are very open to any doubts and all you can go and ask whenever you feel to ask. Some teachers gave their numbers also in exam time so if you have any doubts you can clear them and call also. The curriculum is good and it teaches us theory as well as practical knowledge. We have postings also which makes students industry-ready. Physiotherapy demands are increasing day by day. Semesters are of medium difficulty. If you are regular with your studies you won't find any difficulties. The pass percentage is 50%.

Other: I opted for this course because the demand for this course BPT is increasing day by day. It has an excellent career abroad too. The demand for physiotherapists in India is increasing. Every hospital has a physiotherapist in their hospital. Physio is very helpful in sports, injuries, fracture cases, paralytic patients, etc. There are many rumors about physiotherapy that we only do massage. But physiotherapy is not about massage, it is way more lot than that so I want this thinking should be changed. There are many events held on campus, every year the biggest is Anugoonj which is held once a year. Famous singers and stars are invited to this fest. Sports week and cultural week are also held. The campus provides scholarships to meritorious students also.
