Faculty wise the college is good.

Placements: When talked about the placement about this university, I would like to mention Uttarakhand is a geological work area and demand of geologist is very high. Though it is a central university, it works for you. You can get job offers from ONGC, DRDO etc. Students get decent amount of internship in M.Sc. course. Yes they have a placement cell.

Infrastructure: The campus have Wi-Fi connection in library, medical facilities also provided, sports and games level are pretty strong. NCC and NSS class happened on daily basis. Labs are decent. Classroom have projector facilities. Quality of food in the canteen is not that good. Hostel rooms are good. But their administration is not good.

Faculty: Geology department have good qualified teachers. When I started, there were good teachers but now they are having faculty problem because many professor were retired or shift. Student to faculty ratio is 50:1. But remember, there is no honours degree. It is general B.Sc. degree. But in M.Sc. level it is quite good. Course curriculum is in CBCS method.

Other: Annual events are a big attraction in this university. Also this university goes into north zone competition. Campus is pleasurable and fantastic. Scholarship is provided. Campus is surrounded by Alaknanda river and mountains.
