Yes, now Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University will not be conducting an entrance exam separately. HNBGU admission to most of the undergraduate, postgraduate and integrated courses is now based on candidates' performance in the CUET entrance exam, conducted by NTA. Candidates with a valid CUET score are then required to go through an online counselling round conducted by HNBGU.

Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University (HNBGU) offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) fields such as Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, etc. It has three campuses in total- Chauras Campus, Srinagar, BGR Campus, Pauri Garhwal and SRT Campus, Tehri Garhwal.
