IIT Bombay Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Powai, Mumbai

Placements: Our college provides average placements. I am satisfied with the reputation and alumni base of our institute. Many students got placed either externally or internally. Top roles offered are in CS and finance.

Placements: Due to the recession, this year's placement took a massive hit and fell by more than 20% compared to last year, but the average package size increased due to fewer number of highly valued packages by a few high-paying finance companies in Mumbai and abroad.

Placements: Almost 100% of students got placed in our course. Many students also prefer higher studies or exams like UPSC. The highest salary package offered was 1 crore per annum. Around 5 students got internships in a consulting firm or a software firm. Top roles offered are investment banker and consulting.

Placements: Placements are best in this college. In the 21-22 season of placements about 100 students from my course were placed in core companies and the others in non core companies. Around 96% of students in B.Tech degree were placed. Around 85 students received internship offers in the year 21-22 in core companies in my course.

Placements: The average package of the chemical engineering department varies between 16 to 18 Lacs per annum. Students get jobs in their core field or the technical or non-technical field. Top recruiting companies for chemical engineering are SAIL, BHEL etc.

Placements: Nearly 95% students get placed in my course. The highest 40, average 12 and the lowest 8 LPA for my course. Almost all chemical based international and domestic companies came for recruitment. Nearly 97% students got internships covering a diverse range of companies. All roles based on qualifications.

Placements: About 80-85 % of the students are placed, while others choose to pursue higher studies and research. The typical compensation package is 18 LPA. Some academically elite students maintain 9 to 10 CGPA for acing placements, a minimum CGPA requirement is in place to attend placements. Many students receive internships at prestigious firms like Axis bank and others. Both core and non-core occupations are available to students.

Placements: The placement percentage of our senior batch was around 67% in 2021, and the rest of them were involved in startups. The highest salary package offered is 83 LPA for material science students, the lowest is 14 LPA, and the average is around 24 LPA. The top recruiting company for the core branches is JSW Steel Ltd., and for the non-core branches, it's BCG. Around 33% of students in a batch get internships. The top role offered is senior data analyst in a finance company.

Placements: 95%+ students placed, the highest 40 lac, average 12 lac and the lowest 6 lac, Reliance, Piramal, Dr. Reddy Labs have well paying jobs in chemical core. IT/software, consult and finance roles are most sought after. Majority of the students (~80%) get internships through the placement cell here and others try their luck applying externally.

Placements: Our college is quite popular for its placements. It has a record of 100% placement. The placement committee is very active and dedicated. They properly take our feedback, help us, and work as a guiding force during placements. The placement committee makes sure that every one of us is placed according to our interests. Placements: 96.8% students were placed in IITB. The lowest was something around 6lpa and the highest was 40lpa. Tata, toshiba, L&T were some top recruiting companies. 166 out of 200 were able to get internships in mechanical engineering. Top roles offered in mechanical engineering are automation engineer, research, development supervisor, etc.

Placements: IIT-Bombay has recorded 66 international offers to students this year. The institute's year-long placement drives began in July 2021, with 2,056 students registering for placements and 1,184 students registering for internships. Placements: ESE is a core branch, and it provides you with an opportunity to do research and development. In the previous year, approximately 95% of the total batch got placed. Placements: All students who had registered for placements were placed in top companies. The top roles offered are business analyst, software developer engineer, consultant, and associate consultant. The highest salary package offered was around 32 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 8 LPA.

Placements: Placements are great and good study environment is provided to students of IIT Bombay. Top companies recruit from IIT Bombay. Top recruiters include big companies such as Reliance, etc., in the core chemical field. Many students go for non-core placements in the fields of technology, IT, finance, and consultancy. The salary packages vary in core companies from 8 LPA to 20 LPA and in non-core companies, it is from 10 LPA to 30 LPA. Some students get more than 30 LPA.

Placements: Most of the students in our programme get placed, and the top positions available are in finance and software. Top chemical engineering hiring organisations include Hindustan Unilever, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, etc. About 70-80% students in our course receive internship offers, however others chose to pursue internships off-campus.
