IIT Delhi Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Hauz khas

Placements: With 20-30 companies coming for our branch, about 40-60% of students got placed. Our placement record has been good. The average package offered is around 6-7 LPA. Nokia, Samsung, and several other companies are among the top firms. However, there was a slight decrease in placements this year.

Placements: About 100% of the students get placed from every department. We are told not to disclose the salary package offered, but it is more than 1.5 crores per annum. Top recruiting companies here are Uber, Tower, etc. Internships are offered in HUL, ITC, IOCL and non-core companies, which are as good as Goldman Sachs.

Placements: Top roles offered to the students are software developer, data scientist, ML and AI-based, data analyst, software engineer, consultancy, in various chemical, textile, biotechnology specific offers. Finance and trading-based roles are also offered. Some are research-based in Samsung, etc. Some teaching-based roles are offered in universities.

Placements: Being in the most sought-after course in India, we had a placement percentage of 96%. The highest package offered is 80 LPA, and the lowest package is 7 LPA, and the average package is 15 LPA. The top recruiting company was Goldman Sachs, recruiting more than 80 individuals. The top roles offered were managing software technician etc.

Placements: The recruiters include top MNCs. Almost every student gets placed with a decent package. Some students also go for higher studies. And in civil engineering specifically many students go for IES and GATE and get government. Job. On campus placement rate is very high.

Placements: Our college offers very good job opportunities in core and non-core areas like finance, consultancy and CS. Our college is also in the 1st position in providing employment opportunities in India and the 27th position in the world. The highest salary package offered in our college was 40 LPA in the textile department, and you can get it if you work hard. The average salary package offered varies from 12 LPA to 14 LPA. Placements: Core placements are not exactly desirable neither are they excellent. Students in TEXTILE TECHNOLOGY mainly study additionally other streams like Computers and Finance. Top Recruiting companies for core were- Trident Arvind Mills. Internships mostly depend on student's interest. Many pursue foreign research internship after the second year. And Indian startup internship during the third year.

Placements: IIT-Delhi is known for its placements and especially foreign placements. The average package offered in my course was around 20 Lacs which is undoubtedly one of the highest average packages in India. Most of the students get jobs/internships. The students looking for further education in foreign countries also get a lot of opportunities in IIT-Delhi.

Placements: About 75% students were placed, and the highest was about 45 lacs. Top recruiting companies were Graviton, Sprinklr, Worldquant. Students got internship in companies like Goldman sachs, gartner, De Shaw. Roles was of software engineer of most of the students.

Placements: Mostly, all the students who are graduated from our college got placed. The highest and lowest salary packages offered to students may vary depending on the passed out year. But the average salary package offered might be about 20 LPA. We don't have many opportunities for internships, but as we all know that mechanical engineering may have many intern opportunities.

Placements: About 60% of the students got placed, and the rest either opt for government jobs or started their own startup. Many students also go to non-core placements and fields. Some students explore themselves more. Highly ranked companies visit here for placements such as Google and Facebook.

The highest salary package offered in our college was 40 LPA in the textile department which can be achieved if you are hard-working. The average salary package offered varies from 12 LPA 13 LPA. Students also do a CS minor to get a good salary package offer of more than 15 LPA.

Placements: 70% of student in chemical engineering get placed. The highest package - 50LPA and the average - 12LPA. Top companies are Dr. Reddy Laboratories, Proctor & Gable, Siemens. 60% of students got internship during campus drive. Top roles offered are plant engineer and project consultant.

Placements: 60-70% of students from civil engineering course get placed during the on campus process. The highest package is 42 LPA and the lowest is around 5LPA, the average being 10LPA. Top companies in our course are Schlumberger, JSW, TATA projects. About 50% of students got internships in our course. Top roles offered are assistant engineer and project engineer.

Placements: The percentage of placements is good. In the mechanical engineering branch, the lowest and the highest salary package depends on the batch of that year, and the average salary package offered is between 15-20 LPA, which is good enough for beginners.

Placements: Approximately 95%+ students placed in my department. The highest and the lowest depends on batch but average between 15-20lakh/annum package was offered. There are lots of company recruited like Microsoft, Samsung, LG, Facebook, Google, IBM, etc. About 90% students got internship in their interested field.

The highest salary package offered is around 25 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is around 3 LPA and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are IOCL, HPCL, NTPC, etc. Almost 10% of the students got internships. Overall, our college has very poor placement scenario.

Placements: About 80-85% of students were placed in my college. This is good because many students don't take placement by their choice of higher studies or government job. Students are placed in top companies like Microsoft, Google, Goldman Sachs, Intel, etc. Even students got placed abroad in Microsoft and other companies.
