You will get lots of opportunities to develop yourself in the college.

Placements: IIT, Delhi doesn't release its official data of placements. But, placements in the college are good with the companies like Apple, Microsoft, Tower Research, Flipkart, Qualcomm and many more visiting the college for placements. The salary package offered in the college ranges from 8 lakhs to around 1.5 crores per annum. Most of the students opted for non-core placements that are related to data analytics, finance, consultancy etc.

I am having an amazing campus life at IIT, Delhi.

Placements: The placements of IIT Delhi are very nice. Apple California and Microsoft Redmond made the most lucrative offers. This year, the companies came for recruitment offering a lot of diverse profiles, some of them include tech, finance, consulting, analyst, etc.

Considering the level of infrastructure we have in our country, studying in IIT is not fulfilling.

Placements: Placement hasn't started yet. For seniors except 2, all were placed. There were 14-15 students in their batch. We didn't have any internship offers. But the maximum package was not much. Only IOCL gave above 10, rest below 10. The role was mainly in R&D and few managerial posts.

It is one of the best colleges in India in almost every aspect.

Placements: Placements in the college were very well last year. I'm not allowed to reveal the exact data about placements, but more than 90% of the B.Tech students who registered for placements got a good job with a minimum salary package of 4.50 LPA. Companies visited from the sectors of consulting, analyst, IT and core companies of all departments. The companies offered all types of profiles. The maximum salary package for each profile was different, but the overall maximum salary package offered was more...

Everything in this college is superb.

Placements: There is a placement cell in IIT Delhi which is very helpful for both training and placement. The highest stipend offered for an internship is Rs. 4,81,000 per month. Last year, the highest package offered was 1.4 crores per annum, and around 90% of the students get placed from the computer science department.

One can learn a lot of skills from this college.

Placements: For the last 3-4 years, the average salary package offered was around 12 LPA to 13 LPA. Last year, the highest package offered for computer science students was 36 LPA. The salary offered for an electrical student was 14 LPA. Many companies like TATA, Birla, Reliance, Adani, and multinational companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc., visit the college and conduct interviews before the written exam and then select the students.

Best Years of My Life were definitely spent here.

Placements: I got placed at Axis Bank with a designation Manager (IT). My role was of a business system analyst. I'd like to believe I received a satisfactory pay scale. However I'd be shortly leaving this company to pursue higher education and meanwhile work in an education based NGO.

Good facilities and exposure to conditions of the industry.

Placements: Almost 80% of students get placed every year. The highest packages went up to 2 crores per annum, and the average salary package is around 8 LPA. Students get placed in almost every field like core, consultancies, management, finance and even R&D. Although students of our college are mostly research-oriented, and students had internships during their courses. All of these matters are handled by the training and placements cell, and it guides the students with the possibilities in the future.

The infrastructure of the college is really good and ample opportunities are provided.

Placements: Placements are very good in some branches. Almost 100% placements are recorded. Students have to work hard to get placed. The minimum package offered to the students was 7 LPA or above, so one can get a good package if he/she has good academics. Students can even go for research or start their own company. IIT supports start-ups.

Couldn't have been better than this.

Placements: Placement scenarios are quite good at IIT Delhi. Season starts with Pre-Placement talks of various companies well in advance of actual placements. Companies from of sectors and domains visit campus, be it technology, core, Research, etc. Day 1 is allocated to consulting, Day2 to software, and from day 3 onwards its a mix of everything. In my year placements were quite good. A good percentage of people got placed in initial days only. Last, I checked, the number of companies visiting campus has e...

Placements: The placements were good, and a good number of students were placed. The placements are far better than other colleges. Internships are also provided, and the amount of stipend ranges from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 100,000. IIT Delhi- Not as Great a Story.

Placements: IIT Delhi, being one of the premier institutes for technology has a great placement record. There are a lot of opportunities for its students in various sectors such as Government PSUs, Private MNCs (both Domestic and Foreign). Many students of the chemical engineering are placed in great Oil companies across the globe. Although there is a high degree of competition amongst the students to get into these reputed companies and get a job of his/her liking.

Good and Interesting course.

Placements: Construction Technology and Management is an L&T sponsored branch. So placement is obvious. LnT recruit the students of this branch but you cannot sit for other companies which comes for recruitment. They have a bond of 3 lac for 5 year of job after completion of M.Tech. You have to clear LnT BIS exams followed by interview to get this branch. This is not available through GATE.

Placements: Placements of IITD are always good (100%), in terms of offers from Consulting and Analytics companies. But, if you are looking to get into core, then too you get the top companies of each sector visiting the college. But, surely you need to be well prepared wherever you want to land.

Chance of a lifetime to study at IIT Delhi.

Placements: Not many are placed from the IIT Delhi in M.Sc. physics as this course is not primarily professional and IIT Delhi do not promote coaching therefore coaching institutes are not allowed in the placements, therefore from our batch (2016-2018) there were 0 placements in campus placement. The placements are quite satisfying but the students mostly choose to be a government officer, so they prepare for civil services and don't appear for placements. But those who appeared got placed.
