Absolutely Perfect if you took pre sponsorship.

Placements: My batch is of 40 students. It took really long time for me to get place as at that time there was very less placement. But now yes there is good placement. Pre sponsorship is must as per the DG SHIPPING. Good luck Best regards. Good luck CADETS. Work hard for the ship.

It is a good college with good faculty members and staff.

Placements: Our college provides 100% placements for students. The highest salary offered is 1000$, and the minimum salary offered is 400$. Companies like Maersk and MOL visit our campus for placements. All are recruited as a deck cadet. All students got placement. Fleet is also sponsoring, and a maximum number of cadets are sponsored by Fleet. We have to do navigational watchkeeping and cargo watch.

It is the best maritime training institute in India.

Placements: Executive Ship Management Pvt Ltd provides sponsorship to all the students of this college to complete their on-board ship training. The salary packages offered vary according to the course of the students. British Petroleum Pvt Ltd and some other companies also recruit cadets from our college.

IMU is the best for studying marine engineering.

Placements: Placements are average. In the Maritime sector, there are very fewer demands for jobs, and if you go to any college, they are not giving 100% placement. In our college, around 60% of student were placed this year and an average salary offered is Rs. 40,000 per month.

There's always room for improvement.

Placements: Many companies use to visit our college when there was a boom in shipping industry but during my time the market was down so there were less number of companies providing job to TME which effect our college placement ratio which was moderate with respect to market needs I myself got placed from outside the college but still efforts were made by the placement coordinator in order to bring companies to our college.

Placements: There were placements before but nowadays the market is not good. However, now there is a betterment in this college so it depends on students' performance. In my time only 2 companies visited but now 5 companies visited and hired a good number of cadets.

Review of RL Institute of Nautical Sciences (RLINS).

Placements: Placements in our institute were very less in the years 2012 to 2017, but it was improved and have better placements those who completed their course in the academic year 2018. But since some improper fluctuations in shipping side problem for placements. Not only in this institute but also any institute we can expect mandatary placements. But I was not happy about placements in the year 2017.

It is the best maritime college in North India.

Placements: The average placement percentage in our college is 90%-95%. Companies like Maersk Line, M.Sc. PIL, Fleet, Synergy, Dockendale, etc., visit the campus regularly for placements. Recently our college has been tied-up with M.Sc. company. So there is no issue regarding placements and don't believe rumours.

Review of Hindustan Institute of Maritime Training (HIMT).

Placements: Placements were pretty good. If you score well without any arrears, placement chances for you are high. Many companies visit the campus to offer placements, but it depends on how we perform in the interview. The placement team is helpful, and the staff help the shortlisted students to crack the final interview.

Review of Indian Maritime University, Chennai- Mumbai Campus MERI.

Placements: The college provides 100% of placement in worldwide companies, mostly in Singapore and India, and students can try for off-campus interviews. The college is the best for marine engineering. There are many opportunities, promising jobs, and chances for qualified candidates. Thanks to the government of India for many improvements.

The college provides good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placements n our college are good enough. About 85% of students from our senior batch got placed. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. All shipping and logistics companies like CMA CGM, DHL, Adani Port, DP World, etc., visited our campus every year for placements. Almost 100% of students get an internship at our college. The stipend was not offered during the internship for students.

IMU- Mumbai Port Campus; MERI- former DMET.

Placements: Placements from the year 2017 have improved by leaps and bounds. For the 2017 passout batch, there was a 100% placement; moreover some of the 3rd year cadets were also placed in 2017 already. So as you can see, even in the shipping line where placements are hard to find these days; we thrive to maintain our legacy.

The college is pretty good. But think about all the aspects before joining this college.

Placements: The placements of the college are pretty good. Last year, almost 75% of the students got placed through campus placements. Currently, the college doesn't have any placement cell, but students are working on that. Last year, the placements in the college were very good.

If traveling and machines are your passion, choose merchant navy course.

Placements: The college started to offer B.Tech (ME) course in 2013. Till now, only two batches have been passed out. The first batch was passed out in 2017, and all the 36 students in that batch were placed. Companies like Dockendale, Selandia, Essar, fleet management, Home and Andromeda, etc., visit the college for placements. Similarly, the 2nd batch was passed out in 2018, and all the students of this batch were placed.

Why to choose international maritime institute.

Placements: In this course we can only take admission if we are sponsored I. e before getting admission we have to give company exams for job. Placements in B.Tech are good many reputated shipping companies come for sponsoring B.Tech students like pil, M.Sc. aps, maersk and etc.

HIMT is a good institute for marine training.

Placements: HIMT is one of the good colleges for marine engineering. HIMT offers B.Tech, B.Sc, GME, GP rating courses. One can get the best placement from this college. Companies like NYK, BSM, PIL, TORM visited here and recruited some of the cadets. In my opinion, this college can give good placements like a cadet wants.
