Review of Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women.
Placements: I am a fresher in the B.Tech. MAE department. There is no recruitment for the first years but as far as I know about the placement of my college, it's pretty good—better than most of the Delhi colleges. The average package for my department is around 16–18 lacs. However, students of the mechanical department mostly also participate in technical departments. All good companies come to the college, like Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Zomato, Swiggy, etc. Some of them allow computer science departments or tech departments only. But most of them give equal opportunities to all. Departments. Recently this year, a student in the 4th year of the CSE branch got the highest package of 1 crore annually.
Infrastructure: To be honest, despite such a big college as JAC Delhi, IGDTUW has the biggest demerit as infrastructure. The college is very small. Buildings are not in good condition. The old building needs preparing and needs to make a sports arena. Hostel buildings are good, spacious, and big. Every floor has a fridge and induction.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and coordinated with us. The curriculum is well planned accordingly. At the start of every year, we are provided with a whole-year datesheet of holidays, exams and all the events and fests. Curriculum is relevant and parallel to all other engineering colleges. Midterms are quite easy but the endterms are really a bit tough and tricky. No cheating. Just sit silently, single on your bench, and do your work.
Other: The reason I chose this course is because I got it according to my rank; there was nothing better for me. But now I started enjoying mechanical tools and machines. The best part of the mechanical department is the HOD, who is very supportive. College placement and reputation are very good. So most of the companies come. The infrastructure is totally bad and the campus size is very small. Campus is more for studying and less for fun and events.

Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women review.
Placements: There are about 150 students in my batch. Our course offers a dual degree option. Top recruiting companies include Hero and Maruti Suzuki, and packages range from 5 to 25 lpa. Our college has a great functioning system to meet the needs of every student.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure and well-ventilated classrooms. The college libraries have a variety of books and many societies that cater to students' interests. Overall, it is great to be a part of this college.
Faculty: The teachers in my department are well qualified. They are very efficient in catering to our doubts and needs. The curriculum is well settled for all eight semesters. The semester exams are designed according to the topics studied, ranging from easy to difficult in a well-proportioned way.

Good placements but no campus life.
Placements: Placements are really good, various software development internships and roles are offered, even non-technical roles are also offered. Even core branches have good placements, both technical and non-technical; both national and international companies visit.
Infrastructure: Hostel life is bad: early curfew, no AC classrooms, 5 people living in the same room, no wifi 24/7, very strict rules and regulations, warden doesn't even hear to the needs of students, no actions are taken even after protests, and very poor conditions.
Faculty: Faculty are okay. Some are PhD students teaching freshers; some faculty are really cool and experienced; some are straight-up narcissists. The exams are not that hard, previous year questions and notes are enough to get a decent CGPA. The library is well maintained.

All about IGDTUW you need to know.
Placements: The placement record of IGDTUW is quite good compared to other engineering colleges across India. More than 80 percent of students get placements in on-campus placements in their fourth year. Google, Microsoft, Grow, and LinkedIn are the top companies that have been visiting the college over the years. More than 50 percent of students get opportunities to do internships from the second year during summer breaks for three weeks.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not that attractive according to me. The library is good, with enough space to study and plenty of books available for each course. The classrooms in my branch are not that good as they have no AC, which disturbs concentration during the summer.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, and most of them are PhD graduates. Their teaching style is good. The college teaches us programming languages from the first year and also guides us in developing websites, which is beneficial for getting internships during our second and third years. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate, and they are held timely by the administration.
Other: I opted for this course because of its growing importance and job opportunities over the years. It would be better to remove subjects like Physics and Basic Electrical Engineering from the course, as we ultimately deal with computers. Ignite is the sports event, and Trangana is the fest of the college, which is conducted in a grand way. Scholarship opportunities are available for students with low family income.

Good placements and grades are very important, but has poor infrastructure.
Placements: Basically, placements are quite good. Companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Uber, etc. are recruiting students. SDE roles are offered mostly. However, it depends from company to company. There are also choices for applying for roles. Around 70% or more students have gotten placed in our senior batches this year.
Infrastructure: Do not expect anything in the name of infrastructure. There are classes only for lectures. You can't just sit in a room for lunch, and campus is also quite small. The hostel is quite great, disciplined, good food, and hygienic, but again, due to a lack of space, it's difficult to get a hostel room easily.
Faculty: Some professors are really nice, but some are very arrogant, depending on their behavior and also yours. Faculty is helpful, but I would say seniors are more generous when it comes to help. Semester exams are not that tough, but the checking of the professor matters the most. Pass percentage is 45%.
Other: I wish I had taken CSE AI, as the faculty is really chill. Fests are just so much fun. Students really engage in extracurriculars, and my friends also got scholarship and all. Overall, it's good.

Good placements but otherwise poor infrastructure and facilities .
Placements: The placements for ECE have been good however the first batch of ECE-AI is yet to graduate so there is no statistical data regarding this particular branch. However, in 3rd year more than 50% people were able to get internships I. e on campus for the branch ECE- AI. Most students are placed in teach and software companies only with multiple students opting the off campus offers that include companies like microsoft etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is poor. The buildings are old and the electronics department gets very hot during summers with poor ventilation in classrooms. Infrastructure of IT block is better compared to ECE. Washrooms of ECE building are horrible. There is no cleanliness and the sell sometimes reaches even the classrooms. The projector of ECE classrooms rarely works. Library is average. It is fully AC with enough space to sit and study. The decorum and cleanliness is also well maintained. There is a badminton court behind IT block but it's mostly a hangout spot for monkeys and therefore not many students play there. The labs are average and fully AC. The systems are outdated however.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and most teach sufficient for the exams. Most of the teachers are PhDs and quite knowledgeable. However, when it comes to exams, students need to prepare themselves for the environment is much different from schools. Teachers only help when you seek them out. There is no spoon feeding. Course curriculum for ECE AI is fresh and more up to date as compared to ECE due to which most students are now referring ECE AI. Due to the integration of AI, students are required to learn multiple coding languages which keep them at par with CSAI students. Many subjects are similar to CS-AI. Exams are moderate difficult. Students can get an idea looking at the past year papers. The pass percentage is good enough with multiple students also averaging around 9 GPA each semester.
Other: With my percentile, this was the best suited course I could find. I opted ECE ai because of the curriculum being fresh and updated as compared to ECE. Best things about my course is its overlap between the electronics as well as software industry. I wish the lab and projects and overall hands on experience were better. In labs, we can get along with simply doing those age old experiments mentioned in the syllabus which leave no excitement or curiosity on the student' part. The campus life is underwhelming. The societies are rarely active with only the dance and drama societies being more active than the others. The campus is small due to which fests are also underwhelming with limited number of same old stalls like last year. There are a lot of monkeys in the campus that sometimes attack on students to snatch the things they have in hand. Connectivity to Kashmere GATE is great with the GATE no.7 being at just a 5 min walk from the campus. Campus is shared with the Ambedkar University crowd. One can find more ambedkar students changing around IGDTUW campus than IGDTUW girls on a fine day.
