IGDTUW is a full package which ticks all parameters.
Placements: The college has a productive and growing culture. We are all always getting into one or another hackathons which help us build our skills other than in studies. Professors here are very supportive, they will guide you and also help you in your studies. One of the most important thing here is that you can start your research under a teacher and can make your paper publish in the first year only which gives you a wide perspective of world.
Infrastructure: It is so fortunate to be able to study in a historic buliding as it was been a part of famous LAL QILA. The campus might not be that big but college faculty has made full usage of it by providing every facility to student. We also have robotics lab plus digital library which shows that it is developing itself year by year.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching methods and techniques are very good and unique. The course curriculum also help students to make them industry and well as interviews ready that is teachers help in boosting the self confidence as well as self development in students. Exams are not difficult if you prepare well, all that have taught by teachers are asked in exams. The passing marks are to get 45 out of 100 in every subject.
Other: I have a great interest in machine and as society thinks only boys can go in mechanical branch, IGDTUW breaks that muth by introducing mechanical branch in girls college. Workshops and industrial visits are organised time to time by the teachers to provide an exposure of the industry. One thing which is improving in our course is that more and more technology is been introduce in our syllabus.

I am satisfied with the college and faculty members.
Placements: I am dissatisfied because of the high level of strictness, and bad campus life Atleast 80% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 25 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 8 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 10 LPA to 15 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our colleger are Microsoft, ARM, IBM, FICO, NetApp, Amazon, and GE. At least 20% of the students got an internship in IBM and ARM. Top role offered is a software development engineer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available every time in each block. We were given separate IDs and passwords for Wi-Fi. Labs were equipped with air-conditioners, the latest PCs, new hardware equipment, etc. Classrooms had a large capacity for sitting. The library was vast and they had mostly all the latest books, magazines and novels required. I was not in the hostel so I don't know about the food served in the mess. College canteen had a variety of options to choose from like pasta, Maggi, coffee, tea, rolls, packed food items, etc. For medical facilities, there was a room assigned to a nurse in which she had basic medicines only. I am not sure about sports because never seen any sports activities in the college.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very qualified mostly with doctorate and knowledgeable. Some of them were helpful. The teaching quality was a point above average as teachers mostly gave us notes and PPTs to learn from and in class, they mostly refer to books and notes. But the way of teaching was good.
Other: As I've done my bachelor in CSE branch so for Masters I've again opted for CSE. The best thing about our course is ta hat they had specialisation as mobile and pervasive computing till 2018. We had hands-on practice on sensors and different motherboards used in mobile phones. Improvements were needed as we have to use Python language for motherboards and the institute didn't have Python as an additional subject so that we can learn that language to do motherboard and sensor-related programming. Our college fest was called Taraangana. It was the best fest in the town. Zakhir khan, Biswa, and many other popular comedians came for the event. We also had bands and DJs. The events were also great. Campus crowd was more, especially during the fest days. Connectivity with the metro was there, at a 5 minutes walk. Campus surroundings were not so great but you can reach Kamla Nagar, Kashmere gate in 5 minutes, and places like GTB Nagar in 20 minutes. Scholarships were given to GATE students.

    Great Exposures Towards Knowledge
Placements: It was really good. 70-80% approximately. , lowest 2.75LPA , Higest 8 LPA, 3.50 LPA was the avaerage salary. many companies ( Yamaha, TCS, amazon, ABB, Toyota, Hcl, AIIMS, Suncore Microsystems, Honda, IBM, Adobe, ), Role offered: JRF, software engineer, It professional Around 60% went for internship. Highest stipend 12800 for M.Tech gradutaes, Lowest 5000. Avarage 8000
Infrastructure: Wifi coverage was not that much good LABs are superb medical facilities are good Sports & games: Nice playground (but not Indoor games were popular) Food: There are 4 cafeteria and everywhere food is really nice and price are reasonable. Hostel: New hostel is there so rooms are good Infrastructure issue: never
Faculty: Faculty: As it a government institution faculties are really good and highly educated. Most of them are PhD Scholars. We have got a good knowledge from them. Student- faculty ratio: 40:1 Excellent industry exposure. We have got addition labs for robotics and automation in other colleges. definitely the curriculum was good
Other: Premises is really nice. Best thing was, there was no dress code applicable. Good relationship between students and teachers, Annual fest were celebrated very cheerfully & successfully.Technical events are also good specially Conference. Free environment no restriction. good and proper way of sharing knowledge

A good college with decent placements
Placements: Placements at IGDTUW are pretty decent. Almost all well-known companies visit the campus for hiring B.tech, M. Tech, and MCA students. The average salary as per my knowledge is somewhere around 4-5 lakhs INR. Some companies offer as high as 16 lakhs INR while mass recruiters stick to the usual 3.5 lakhs INR package. Internships offered are also amazing. Amazon, Microsoft, CERT-IN, etc. also offered paid internships.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious with projector screens available in a few of them. Decent medical facilities are available on the campus. Labs are just fine with no Wi-Fi but LAN connections. Canteen doesn't offer lots of options but the those available are good. Hostel rooms are well-maintained.
Faculty: The faculty here is just like any other college i.e. a mix of all types. Mostly average, except a few who are really interested in teaching. As per my experience, almost 80% of the faculty is average or below average. 20% are those who really like to teach and try new things and are able to inculcate some motivation in the students, but they are really very few.
Other: Overall, it's a nice experience. The opportunities you can explore have no limits if you are really interested, but the key has to be self-motivation. If you are a self-driven person, you can achieve a lot with the help of this institute. Some of the teachers are really helpful and they can help you a lot. The curriculum could have been better, especially for M.Tech courses.

Other: IGDTUW is a deemed University that was formerly known as Indraprastha University. College environment is super cool and enthusiastic. Faculty members are very cooperative and motivating. It is the first government women technical university on India. Here, I see women empowerment.

I am dissatisfied with the faculty, poor placements in 2018, and bad infrastructure.
Placements: Placements were poor for our batch, but it was a bit better for our senior batch. Only a few students got placed. The highest salary package offered for our batch was 9 LPA. The highest package offered for our senior batch was of 16 LPA, but with this package, only two students got placed. This year, TCS, Amazon, ARM, etc., visited our college for placements. The internship was provided to students, and later it was converted into full-time employment. Faculty members were partial and referred their favourite students to Intel for an internship. The internship was useful. Students will get to learn so much, and they provide industrial exposure.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not so good. Our branch students were provided with a Wi-Fi password just before six months when we were about to leave the college and students used to be irregular to college. The college does not provide any classroom, and sometimes we used to study in teachers cabin, and sometimes in other vacant classroom or in our lab. Sports and games were not available, and they do not provide any sports arena for us. The library was average, and there were limited books in it. A number of books were less than a number of students. The canteen was small and average. There was not any proper seating arrangement in the canteen. There was no lab assistant. Half of the computer systems in our lab didn't work properly. We used to face difficulty in doing our projects. Moreover, computer systems were limited. We did not get access to systems on time.
Faculty: Some teachers in our college were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable while others were rude, dominating and partial. Teaching quality was bad. Students had to study on their own through the internet, notes, etc. Teaching methods used by the teachers to teach students were poor. Teachers were lazy. They used to assign us PPTs to complete their syllabus. The student to faculty ratio was less. Teachers were partial towards their favourite students those used to do buttering.
