Placements: Placements are good for B.Chem. The average salary package offered was about 4-8 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 18 LPA. Pursuing chemical engineering is good, but if you had to do B.Tech, then polymer and surface coating and Food PharmaTech are very good branches. The average salary package offered to them was 4-6 LPA, and the highest salary package offered for food pharma tech was 8-9 LPA. For polymer and surface coating, the package goes up to 12 LPA. The syllabus for these br...
Placements: Yes placements are good. I myself being a placement coordinator can definitely say that almost everyone gets at decent package. The average CTC is 5 LPA for Batch of 2019. the lowest CTC is around 3.5 LPA. The conventional companies visiting ICT are Reliance, Honeywell, Dr. Reddys. , Biocon, UPL, Aker Solution, Deccan Chemical and many more.
Placements: Placements for M.Chem engineering are very good. Last year, the placement ratio was almost 100%. Although, the packages provided are not very attractive and lie within the range of 5 LPA to 15 LPA, since freshers in the chemical industry are never offered a good package. But as experience builds, there is exponential growth in the career. What matters is that you should be working in a core company where you can apply your knowledge of chemical engineering.
Placements: Placements for the textile branch are not that great. Only three companies visited for our branch during out placements. Overall, the placements for all the branches were good. The average salary was around 3.5-4 LPA, but I wish the placements would be much better. I wish more companies come to the college to offer placements and provide better options for the students.
Placements: 100% placements with companies offering roles in production or projects. Companies like BPCL, Reliance, Exxon Mobil, Galaxy Surfactants, UPL, Godrej, Glenmark and many more. Internship post 3rd year. Is a part of the curriculum with most of the above companies visiting the campus. Some of them do offer PPOs as well.
Placements: ICT is known for its research and better opportunities to study abroad with many specialised fields in chemical technology. But from the last few years, ICT placement cell has taken major strives to bring chemical companies for campus placements. Placements for almost every branch are 100% with the maximum package offered in B.chem engineering being 16 LPA and 12 LPA for chemical technology branches. Regarding internships, every student has to go for in-plant training after the 6th semester. Apa...
Placements: Placement in our college is 100%. This year the highest package was given by BPCL and it was of 16.2 Lacs. All the students gets placed through in campus interview. There is In plant Training after 3rd year which is given through campus itself. Overall performance us good.
Placements: The placements at ICT are fine for Chemical Engineering, Polymer and Food Technology branches. Almost 70 percent of the students who SAT for placements got placed. The highest package was 16.5 LPA given by BPCL to four students. The average for Chemical Engineering branch is 6-7 LPA. Only Chemical Engineering companies are allowed in our campus for placements. Some other companies which visited were Dairy, Exxon, Dr. Reddy, Alkylamines, etc. There is a placement cell and before the fourth year y...
Placements: The placements are really excellent in the bachelor of chemical engineering branch. In my batch, 45 out of 80 people sat for interviews, and rest opted for higher studies (MS or PhD). Till now, 42 people are placed. Out of 3 remaining people, one is going for MBA directly without job experience. So technically, only 2 people are remaining to be placed. The average package for my batch is about 6 LPA. The highest package is 17.5 LPA offered by BPCL, who took 5 people from our batch, me being one ...
Placements: The average placements of the above course were 4.5 LPA The companies like ITC, Nestle, ZS associates, Heinz, Mapro, Cadbury visited our campus and offered roles in R&D, production, quality control etc. Internships being a compulsory course in a final year, students were placed in various companies all over India with various roles.
Placements: Placement on our campus is 100%. Half of the batch goes abroad for further studies, and remaining students get placed through campus interviews. This year, the highest package offered was of 16.2 LPA given by BPCL, and the lowest was about 5.5 LPA. All the students got the internship. The stipend amount varied depending on the company.
Placements: The placements of Institute of chemical technology (ICT) are always up to the mark, and it is around 95%, the highest package for 2015-'16 and 2016-'17 batch students was about 10- 14 LPA offered by PSUs and the average is about 6-7 LPA. Maximum students prefer further studies as ICT is a brand name in R and D but placement is guaranteed, and if not by ICT, you will get placed off-campus by the name of ICT.
Placements: The placements are good here. All the seniors are placed. The maximum package offered here is 10 Lac per annum. Mondelez, ITC, Nestle, Tetra Pak, etc., have come in the past few years. Companies come here for offering internship as well. All the students are aided for the internship.
Placements: The placements are good here. I can't really say it in terms of percentages. The companies expect not only core technical knowledge but also non-technical skills. The students here do get international fellowships and internships at the undergraduate level. The kind of exposure and support we have here is amazing.
Placements: The institute is the first and only institute in Maharashtra to get NAAC A+ rating. Despite the elite status, the placement are not so great. The average package is around 5-6 LPA. Median would be in the range of 4.5 to 5. Not many students opt for jobs (as most, say 40%, of them, continue their higher studies abroad). 100% placement is rare. It is a very good prospect for MS and PhD abroad.
Placements: There are very good placements with an average CTC of 5.5 lakhs per annum. The major recruiters are BASF, Exxon Mobil, SRF, reliance, and BPCL. Almost every student gets placed, hardly one or two remain at the end of the placements. The placements start by the month of August and end by September.
Placements: There is a proper placement cell in the organization. The placement cell manages things like collecting CV of the students, organizing them in the required way as asked by the companies, preparing placement brochure, coordinating interview schedules, engaging professors in the interview process etc. Placements are very good. All of my batchmates got placed. However, as I wanted to pursue further education, I proceeded with PhD.
Placements: The placement numbers are great in ICT. The college has produced more than 500 entrepreneurs, so there is nearly 90-95% placement each year. This year (2017), the highest salary package was 15 LPA by BPCL, and the average was 8 LPA. All the placements are of core industries with a good job profile.
Placements: The condition of placements this year and last year was very bad. The highest package this year is 9 LPA and the lowest can be as low as 1.2 LPA. Everyone gets an internship as it is a part of the curriculum but not everyone gets a stipend. Some people work for free while some get 15,000 INR per month. Companies which generally come for food engineering students are General Mills, PepsiCo, Kraft Heinz, and some B2B companies like VKL, PD Navkar, etc. but the intake is very low. Each company tak...
Placements: Very few students opted for placements. Most of us wanted to for MS/Ph.D. or MBA. However, placements are not too fancy in terms of compensation but pretty decent and above average. Core companies do visit like Godrej, Kamaani, BASF, Adani, etc.
