Placements: The placements are good here. All the seniors are placed. The maximum package offered here is 10 Lac per annum. Mondelez, ITC, Nestle, Tetra Pak, etc., have come in the past few years. Companies come here for offering internship as well. All the students are aided for the internship.
Placements: The placements are good here. I can't really say it in terms of percentages. The companies expect not only core technical knowledge but also non-technical skills. The students here do get international fellowships and internships at the undergraduate level. The kind of exposure and support we have here is amazing.
Placements: The institute is the first and only institute in Maharashtra to get NAAC A+ rating. Despite the elite status, the placement are not so great. The average package is around 5-6 LPA. Median would be in the range of 4.5 to 5. Not many students opt for jobs (as most, say 40%, of them, continue their higher studies abroad). 100% placement is rare. It is a very good prospect for MS and PhD abroad.
Placements: There are very good placements with an average CTC of 5.5 lakhs per annum. The major recruiters are BASF, Exxon Mobil, SRF, reliance, and BPCL. Almost every student gets placed, hardly one or two remain at the end of the placements. The placements start by the month of August and end by September.
Placements: There is a proper placement cell in the organization. The placement cell manages things like collecting CV of the students, organizing them in the required way as asked by the companies, preparing placement brochure, coordinating interview schedules, engaging professors in the interview process etc. Placements are very good. All of my batchmates got placed. However, as I wanted to pursue further education, I proceeded with PhD.
Placements: The placement numbers are great in ICT. The college has produced more than 500 entrepreneurs, so there is nearly 90-95% placement each year. This year (2017), the highest salary package was 15 LPA by BPCL, and the average was 8 LPA. All the placements are of core industries with a good job profile.
Placements: ICT is a premier institute and it is known for a high level of industry orientation. Every year, the department of Chemical Engineering sees 100% placement for undergraduates. Average package offered is 5.5 LPA CTC. Around 25 companies visit the department for campus placements. The companies offer varied roles- design, research, production/manufacturing, business development etc. The majority of companies offer roles in core engineering. Placement of students takes place in following industrie...
Placements: The college has an active role to play during placements. They call upon various industries and alumni to hold interviews and aptitude tests. Companies that have earlier recruited students from ICT definitely return in the next years to pick up more students.
Placements: I have heard about the senior batch that the placement is now down this year in ICT. But as per my knowledge, last year, there was a 100% placement record. Reliance, UPL and Glenmark are some companies which visit ICT. Core, as well as non-core jobs, are offered in production, design, marketing etc. The internship is compulsory. Some companies offered stipend while some do not. The stipend is not important. Some company directly offer a pre-placement offer. ...
Placements: Placement at ICT is at its best. We have a 100 % placement record every year. Last year Highest package was offered by DOW at 9.2 LPA and the average package is about 5.5 LPA. Companies that visited our campus are Exxon Mobil, DOW chemicals, Glenmark, Godrej, Aditya Birla Group, Birla Century, Reliance and many others. Different roles offered are in production, project management, sales and marketing, process engineer and R & D. We do have an internship programme for the 2nd year and 3rd year ...
Placements: The placements of our batch, as well as the previous batch were decent. 100% students who sit for placements get placed every year. The highest salary was 5 lakhs. Companies like Pidilite Industries Ltd, Arvind Mills Ltd, Raymonds, Hoeinstein, Intertek, Huntsman etc. The average salary is 3 lakhs. Roles offered are sales executive, R&D executive, technical assistants, lab assistants and business development. 100% students have a summer internship after their 3 years since its is a part of the ...
The education at ICT is great. We have great professors who really teach well and guide us in our subject of interests. Here the focus is not only on studies but also on extra-curricular activities as well. And these activities include volunteering events, managing finance, and accounts, resource and logistics, etc. We also have a creative and design team as well as a photography team. We have tons and tons of events involving entrepreneurship, innovation, and workshops where you can use your ow...
It is a renowned college. The great campus facilities with best professors, four years course in ICT, was a great experience. The college has no internet facility and other than that, the college placement is really good (average package is rupees 4.5 lakhs). The college campus includes 2 canteens, a ground, 3 mess and 5 big hostels.
Institute of Chemical Technology formerly known as UDCT or MUICT is an exceptional place to learn, grow and excel. Located at the heart of Mumbai. Well-equipped labs, highly qualified professors, intelligent teaching assistants, state-of-the-art infrastructure. Placement package is decent. Around 5lpa average but trend is half of the class prefers to study abroad for MS or MS-PhD. People here make good use of all 4 years. Internship under a professor gives you a hands on research experience wher...
The college is pretty famous and ranks no 1 at all Indian level for the best in Chemical Engineering. Beautiful campus where there are more trees than students. Research work is what the college takes pride in. The academics and faculty are excellent with the timely assignments making student excellent in academics. The extracurricular activities help to boost develop personality to a higher level and last but not least placements are outstanding. I would definitely recommend this college.
Excellent pedagogy. Professors are just masters in their respective subjects. Also there are amazing opportunities for MS, probably best in the country. ICT students easily get admission into the IVY league Universities. There is only one drawback- absence of IIT level placements. Non-core firms (consulting, e-commerce, etc.) are strictly prohibited leaving only core jobs.
B.Chem Engineering in this institute is one of the best in India and as a pass out student, sometimes you might feel the study pressure is a lot, but it is worth it in the long run. The placements are nearly 100% every year and the variety of companies that visit the campus are also improving. Overall, if you're really passionate about chemical engineering join this institute!
ICT has been the forerunner of colleges offering Chemical Engineering, for decades. It offers graduate, post graduate and doctoral courses in not only core chemical engineering but related fields as well like green technology, textiles, plastics, oils etc. and thus was undoubtedly my choice when I decided to do Masters in chemical. My experience of two years has not only been enlightening, given the fact that we are taught by professors of high calibre, but also exciting with so many tests and c...
The college is located in the heart of the city it is one of the best colleges in India for chemical engineering. Rigorous academic, highly educated faculty and world class facilities. It is one of the best college for research. It becomes difficult sometimes to cope up with the academics. They have hostels in the campus itself.
One of the best colleges of the country. Research oriented teaching approach. Highly skilled professors having extensive knowledge of the subjects. Well-equipped labs possessing all kinds of machinery. Grades based on regular exams, presentations, assignments etc. Lecture are interactive.
