Dissatisfied with the faculty, curriculum, administration and everything.

Placements: Till now, the placement is good. JUIT, Solan has the common placement with JIIT, Noida, i.e., the students from here go to JIIT, Noida to participate in the placement activities there. Paymaster is Amazon, and the mass recruiter is Infosys. Besides this many startups eagerly takes the students from here. If you are a CSE student with CGPA 6.5 or above, then you don't have to worry about the placements.

Average college with average placement but very poor industry exposure.

Placements: The placements for the college are average with over 80-90% students getting placed mainly in mass recruiters and 5-6 students getting placed in big MNCs like Amazon, Paytm, Zomato etc. The main mass recruiters are Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and Accenture. The highest package given to a student was 27 lacs by Amazon and the average package goes something around 3-4 lacs. All the companies that visited the campus are Aarkem, Kuliza, Abyeti Technologies, MAZ Digital, Amazon, Medd-healthcare, App Ga...

Average private college with good placement record but bad industrial exposure.

Placements: The college placements are good with around 140-150% placements for overall batch and each student holding 1-2 job offers. For the 2013-2017 batch, all the students are placed. The highest package offered was by Amazon at 27 lacs and the average package goes around 3.5 lacs. Various companies including Infosys, EY, Wipro, Amazon, Zomato, Paytm and various startups visit the campus with overall around 60-70 companies visiting the campus per each session. There is no help given to the students re...

Beautiful college but with average facilities and a bad placement record in the year 2017.

Placements: There have not been good placements for the batch 2013-2017 for the ECE course while for the CSE course, there have been average placements with around 80% people placed while for ECE, only 50% are placed up till now. For the senior batch, placements have been quite good with 100% placements. The highest package offered is 22 lacs by Amazon, the average package is around 4 lacs and the lowest package offered is 2.5 lacs for the civil course. Many companies including mass recruiters like Infosys,...

Great college with good placement but less practical exposure.

Placements: There has been a good placement record from the past few years where each student at least has one job offer who sit for the placements. There was a good placement for the year 2012-2016 and for 2013-2017 batch, almost all students are placed with few left for whom companies are still coming. The average package offered is around 3 lacs and the highest offered for the current batch is by Amazon which is 22 lacs. Companies that visit the campus are Zomato, Amazon, Kronos, Kulliza, Zycus, Future F...

Decent college for an average student with a promising placement.

Placements: The placements of 2012-2016 were very good with about 114% placements and in very good companies like Amazon, Microsoft and Paytm. In the batch of 2013-2017(current batch), we have till now 90% of the students being placed with the maximum number of placed students in the CSE branch. The college promises to bring more companies. The average package is around 3.5 lacs with highest being 22 lacs offered by Amazon. Many mass recruiter companies like Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant and Ericsson came and m...

Jaypee University of Information Technology review.

Placements: Placements for a civil engineer are not going to be very good. There are several reasons for not getting good placements such as no dedicated training and placement cell, a lot of politics and a major chunk of students in Civil Engineering being of the NRI/Management quota. Opting for civil engineering should be a wise decision, else one will regret of not getting any job offer when one is a graduate.

One of the most beautiful looking campuses.

Placements: The placements for the batch 2015-2016 were decent. Everyone in the computer science department had at least a single offer in hand. There were many unplaced students in the ECE section but Ericsson came to the campus at the end of the final semester and took almost everyone. The highest package offered in the CSE department was 21 lakhs per annum by Amazon and the average package offered was 3.5 lakhs per annum. The mass recruiter companies were Infosys, Cognizant, Aricent and Ericsson. This y...

There are no placements. Good Faculty. No sports. No exposure, but the weather is lovely.

Placements: There is a good placement scope for B.tech branches of ECE and CSE, but civil gets zero placements. One or two students get placed, and that too in IT companies. ECE gets nearly 70 to 80% placement. CSE gets 70% and civil none. Companies like Infosys and Amazon etc take main placements.

The computer science department can get you menial IT jobs here, and if you work hard, you can get few top notch companies to interview you. Otherwise, the teaching mechanism is obsolete, no attention is paid to new technologies and attendance is given a major weightage when it comes to marks. The 25 internal marks are with the teacher and are not always transparent. So, your image is everything.

If you want to enjoy college life in four years of course and in the end want to get placed with a mass recruiter then this college is the best option. No companies visit this college, actually companies visit JIIT Noida (sister institute) and we need to go there to appear for placements.

The good- Location i.e. near to Shimla and Solan. Infrastructure of the college and atmosphere is also good. The bad- poor direction to students, lack of good teachers, approx. no placement of civil students in core companies. High fee structure but studies are not up to the mark.

Review of Jaypee University of Information Technology - JUIT.

Placements: Placement cell works hard to provides the students with an adequate amount of opportunities to build their career. Internships and industrial tour are the area which need some serious attention. Non technical as well as technical companies visit here for placements. The highest salary offered until now is Rs. 9,000 per month, and it was offered by Byju's.
