JNU CUET UG and PG results 2023 declaration date is yet to be announced by the NTA. Last year, JNU CUET PG result were declared on September 26 on both NTA and JNU CUET PG's website. With the results, the cut-offs were also released as per the programmes. For the PhD courses test-takers, qualifying for the entrance exam have to straightaway appear for an interview round. Meanwhile, JNU CUET UG results was released on September 16 in the form of percentile. After the results all the participating universities have started the registration process for admission to UG courses. Qualified candidates were allowed to register separately for admission to different participating universities. 

Candidates who will appear for the exam will be able to check and download their JNU CUET UG and PG results by logging in to their accounts using their application number, and date of birth from the official website of CUET. Notably, CUET UG scorecard will be required to participate in the counselling process. NTA sent the result data of qualified candidates to the universities they had applied for.

How to check JNUEE/JNU CUET results

Students can follow the below-mentioned steps on how to check the JNUEE/JNU CUET 2023 results online:

Step 1: Open the official website of Jawaharlal Nehru University or directly enter the link https://ntaresults.nic.in/resultservices/CUET-auth-22

 

Step 2: Click on the “Admission” tab on the homepage of JNU’s official website

Step 3: Select the option through which you want to check JNUEE result from the two options available – Search by Application Number or Search by Registration Number.

Step 4: Select your details from the drop-down mentioned. Details to be selected are programme of study, field of study and application number/registration number.

Step 5: Click on the Search button

Step 6: View JNUEE score and rank

Step 7: Take a print of JNUEE result

What after JNUEE/JNU CUET Result?

For the majority of the courses offered at Jawaharlal Nehru University, admission is offered directly after the result for JNUEE exam is declared. However, in some of the courses candidates need to further appear for viva-voce in order to be shortlisted for admission in the course of their choice. JNU courses in which candidates need to appear for a viva-voce after the entrance exam are as mentioned below:

  • BA (Hons) 2nd year
  • MA (Foreign Languages)
  • MPhil/PhD
  • Pre-PhD/PhD
  • MTech/PhD
  • MPH/PhD
  • COP
  • ADOP(Mass Media)

Also, candidates who have been shortlisted for admission directly on the basis of their performance in JNUEE exam need to note that they need to register for admission after the results are declared.

JNU Cut off

JNU determines JNUEE cutoff for admission in postgraduate (PG) programmes offered by the university. JNU cut-off will be determined basis admissions offered in different PG programmes of the central university. Jawaharlal Nehru University is known to shortlist aspirants on the basis of JNUEE cut-off. It is through this means that officials prepare the merit list for JNUEE exam. JNU is known to declare around two cutoff lists for JNU admissions.

JNU Merit List

Jawaharlal Nehru University is known to conduct an entrance exam called Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam (JNUEE) and on the basis of JNUEE result and cut off released for JNU admissions, the central university publishes the merit list for JNUEE exam. Candidates can check JNU merit list on the official website of the varsity. JNU merit list will be published for each of the offered postgraduate course offered by the university. Q. How do I check the JNUEE results?

A. You can check the JNUEE results by logging in on the official website of JNU. Candidates will have to enter the required credentials in order to check the results.

Q. How can I find the JNUEE result link on the website?

A. You have to search for the link ‘Exam Results 2023’. On clicking the link, the candidate will be asked to enter their login details.

Q. Will I get a call about the announcement of the JNUEE results?

A. No. The names of candidates who have qualified the JNUEE will be called for the personal interview.

Q. Will JNU release a merit list after the results have been announced?

A. JNU will release the results list. Only candidates who have qualified for the next round, their names will be present on the list. Merit lists are made when the seats are not filled.

Q. Will a merit list be released?

A. Yes. JNU releases a merit list after the results are released.

Q. Will the cut-off be more than last year?

A. The JNU cut-off will be based on the number of students who have appeared, the average marks secured and the course strength as well.

Q. Will I get an alert when the JNUEE results are released?

A. No. The candidate will have to visit the official website of JNU-NTA in order to check the results. The candidate will have to login to check the results.

Q. Will an answer key of the exam be released?

A. Yes. The answer key will be released a week after the entrance exam has been successfully conducted.

Q. What if there is a wrong answer on the Answer Key, what do I have to do?

A. The candidate will be given an opportunity to make a challenge online against the Answer Key on payment of Rs 1,000 per question challenged as processing charges.

Q. Will there be any reevaluation of the answer sheet?

A. No. There will be no revaluation and rechecking of the results which will be declared. Emails and queries related to rechecking will not be entertained.

Q. Will there be a scorecard or merit list?

A. Yes. JNU releases a merit list after the results are released.

Q. Will a cut-off be released after the results are declared?

A. Yes. The cut-off list will be released after the results have been declared. A merit list will be prepared on candidates who have qualified for the next round which is the Personal Interview (PI) round.
