Review of Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education.
Placements: About 80% of students get placed in reputed companies. The highest package is 5,400,000 lakhs per annum at Nutanix, and the lowest package is 14,000 a month. CSE, ECE, and IT students are placed under the 5,400,000 per annum bracket. The top companies that come for placements include TCS, IBM, Cipla, Renault Nissan, Tata, and so on. Many students received internships at INSA from our department, selected by the government for 2 months, which provided room facilities, transportation costs, and food with a 5,000 Rs fund. About 85% of students secure internships. Top roles offered in our course include lab technician, researcher, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has a green environment with good infrastructure, but Wi-Fi is unavailable in a few areas. We have good classrooms and a library with 98,000 volumes of books. We also have a startup and incubation program where students and faculty are provided with 10 lakhs for their startup. To be honest about the hostel and mess facilities, I would rate them a 2 due to water issues, food quality, and warden tolerance. Other games, sports, NCC, and NSS are fine. We also have good lab facilities with functioning equipment.
Faculty: The teachers here are well qualified, graduated from IITs and NITs. They are knowledgeable and explain concepts clearly, although a few teachers tend to read directly from the PPT. The course curriculum is relevant and quite interesting, preparing students for jobs and internships. College semester exams cannot be predicted; sometimes the question papers are easy, and other times they are moderate. If we study for the exam, it is easy. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course because I personally like biology. Learning about life and related topics is really interesting to me. The best aspect of my course is biochemistry and microbiology. There is nothing to improve. Many events happen in our college every month organized by clubs. In sports, other college events, and cultural activities, we can enjoy a lot.

Kalasalingam academy of research and education review .
Placements: Approximately 85% to 95% of students will definitely place in huge and reputed companies. The highest package provided here is 56 lacs per annum, and the lowest package is 15 thousand per month. For my course, top recruiting companies are Dr. Reddy, Biocon, Cipla, and so on. Like now, I am in my second year and have yet to go to internships, but as asked to a few seniors, they have gone to Coimbatore, Madurai, and Chennai for internships in Vadamalayan, Meenakshi Hospital. Roles offered in my course are lab technician, lab assistant, microbiologist, and so on.
Infrastructure: We have a very average lab and equipment. But the infrastructure is very green, and we also provided Wi-Fi with good bandwidth. We have a separate library in the Biotechnology block to get useful books for preparing notes or studying. Classroom can be accommodated with students of 80. Hostel rooms are good compared with other colleges. It comes with AC rooms, attached, non-attached, and non-AC rooms. Mess we have south mess and north mess as we have a large diversity of students studying here. Canteen is also available.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and have Ph.D.s in their subjects. They never fail to clarify doubts and never skip any topics. The subjects are relevant and are microbiology, chemical engineering, industrial biotech, biochemistry, and so on. Semester exams are quite tough, and the pass percentage is 55 or above.
Other: I personally chose this course because I am a pure science student. And I have a lot of interest in biotechnology and stuff. The best thing about my course is we learn about life and fascinating facts about it and connect us with nature. May be the labs and equipment can improve. We have regular culturals, festivals, and events to clear non-CGPA and to have a huge exposure. Yet we have lots of joy and happiness.

This college is pretty average for me.
Placements: As of now only 1 percent students are placed. Last year, the highest offer was 51 lacs and the lowest package offered was 3 lacs per annum. Top recruitments are done by TCS . Internship opportunity in our branch is good. Research engineer is the top role offered in our course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that good, the only good thing about our campus is that it’s a green campus having less pollution. Wifi is good and labs are provided but have less equipments. The central library is good. Hostels are average. The food is the worst in our college.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful if we are good to them. Some of them are qualified while the others are not . Their teaching quality is not effective. The course curriculum is relevant making the students industry ready, depending up on the department. The difficulty level of the semester exams is moderate.

It is an excellent college with teachers and placements.
Placements: In the previous semester, after being eligible for a placement offer, many companies, like Tata, Mahindra, Nokia, and Samsung participated in placement week. The highest salary package offered is 7 crores PA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Almost 60-70% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: Hostel rooms are different types of rooms, and they have four bedrooms. They provide five bedrooms for girls and boys. The hostel rooms are average for studying and sleeping. The quality of the food is not good. A canteen is available. The quality of food in the canteen is good. Reservations are given by the Kalvi portal when students join, and then they share the password and user ID.
Faculty: Our teachers are good. They treat us as our children and teach every topic with next-level enthusiasm. A lot of research facilities are provided by the college and our department. They take exams semester-wise. Whenever we ask our teachers for queries, they solve them on the spot.

I am satisfied with this college, mainly placements and environment.
Placements: Nearly 60 percent of students were placed during my graduation year. Now it may be increased depending on the strength and numbers of companies visiting. Most of the companies visited. Non-core jobs will also be available and many more. Main job roles are software development. Teachers were very helpful. They will help at any time. And some faculty will be available at the hostel itself. Whenever we have doubt, we can go and clarify with them. There is no separate exam fee. Everything will be included in the tuition fee.
Infrastructure: The hostel rooms are good. They will provide 3 and 2 sharing based on the students conviction. Coming to food is good but not as much as expected. There were so many events and functions in the girls hostel. No boys were allowed inside the girls hostel. This college is very good and the environment is very good. There is availability of study halls. Many functions and events will occur and anybody can participate in them without any hesitation.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful. They will help at any time. And some faculty will be available at the hostel itself. Whenever we have doubt, we can go and clarify with them. There is no separate exam fee. Everything will be included in the tuition fee. I am satisfied with this college, mainly placements and environment. And people from different places so we can do more and more things. Different languages can be learned.
Other: I want to share that this college is very good and the environment is very good. There is availability of study halls. Many functions and events will be occur and anybody can participate in them without any hesitation. Some faculty will be available at the hostel itself. Whenever we have doubt, we can go and clarify with them. There is no separate exam fee. Everything will be included in the tuition fee.
