Good choice for your future.
Placements: 95% of the students are placed every year and that number keeps increasing every year. The highest package is about 9 LPA for freshers, and even more is about 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, TCS, Mahindra, Zifo, etc. Many students—up to 80% of the students—get internships.
Infrastructure: There are good laboratories for different fields, and many equipments are there. Good Wi-Fi connections, classrooms with recordings to view later, and a neat and clean library are available. The labs are equipped with ACs. The hostel facility is appreciated for its neat and clean mess and laundry service.
Faculty: Teachers are really very helpful and motivate us a lot. They are extremely knowledgeable in their own fields. The curriculum is updated and is more useful for jobs. The semester exams are challenging and make us ready for industries and jobs. Our curriculum is all updated with a lot of practical knowledge and hands-on training. A new biofilm and molecular lab is built.
Other: Recharge fest is the best every year.

Good infrastructure and a good campus.
Placements: Almost 95% of our students are placed through the placement in top companies. All the top companies are in our placement line-up. Companies like Cognizant and Infosys are top recruiting companies. Almost 80% of students get internships from our course and get placed with the same company.

Faculty: Good and helpful teachers. All the faculty members support us with guidance and support. The syllabus is relevant to our curriculum. The teaching quality is completely good, and three CAT exams are conducted as mock tests to prepare the students for the semester. 45 out of 100 is the pass percentage.
Other: Recharge is conducted every year.

Good placements at decent packages were offered.
Placements: Above 80% were placed in my batch. The lowest package is 2 LPA, and the highest package is 15 LPA. The packages are based on the companies. So clear arrears within the final year so you can afford high packages. TCL, INFOSYS, WIPRO, Amazon, etc. were companies recruiting students every year.
Infrastructure: The college has adopted many green cover initiatives, thereby enriching the ambience of the campus. Security personnel were assigned duties to ensure restricted entry into the college. But hostel facilities are the worst. So I request students not to join hostels in case you can try a homestay nearby.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly and well-qualified. They teach several times without any hesitation, so students can easily clarify their doubts. The semester exams are not complicated; the students conduct tests and exams on a regular basis. So each and every student has focused on their syllabus.
Other: I chose information technology (IT) because I'm interested in the IT field.

Review of Rajalakshmi Engineering College.
Placements: 90% of students who opted for placements got placed on campus. The highest package is 12 Lacs per annum from Flipkart, and the lowest package was 3 Lacs per annum. TCS, CTS, Wipro, Accenture, Zoho, Zifo, etc., come here. I'm not sure about it. But many got into international internships, and the college provides the necessary support.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available with 1 GB free per day. According to me, the lab facilities for biotechnology are not sufficient enough. But not too bad, we have a satisfactory level of amenities. Classrooms are very spacious and comfortable. The college doesn't provide good food. You need to get food from the canteen or bring it from home. You don't get non-veg food except for eggs inside the campus. But food is good in canteens too.
Faculty: I would give five stars to the department of biotechnology because we have really very friendly and approachable staff who are really ready to help us in all the way they could. Most of the teachers from our department are PhD holders. The course curriculum is absolutely fine, and we have an innovation and design thinking paper where we can think about our final year project and also develop a prototype in 3rd year itself. Semester examinations are a bit challenging yet very helpful to maximize our knowledge.
Other: I'm a great fan of biology and hence came into biotechnology. Our course is completely application-oriented, where we have lots to explore. I wish chemical engineering is removed from the syllabus. Events, fests and sports are really appreciated. We have AC buses to travel, which is an add-on.

Placements are good, infrastructure is decent but needs improvement, with active student clubs.
Placements: Placements at our college are good, especially for CEE and IT students, with opportunities ranging from top corporations like TCS to promising startups. However, for students from Biotechnology and Food Technology, placements in core companies are limited. Irrespective of the field securing a job largely depends on students technical skills and knowledge.
Infrastructure: College has a good infrastructure but could use some improvements. Hostel rooms are comfortable with 24/7 Wi-Fi, and the food is decent. Library can be accessed until 5 PM, and there are active sports clubs with annual interdepartmental matches.
Faculty: Most faculty members are doctorates, ensuring quality teaching. The updated 2022 curriculum is good but has room for improvement. Semester exams are moderately challenging, with question papers generated by AI, providing a fair assessment of knowledge.
Other: College has numerous active clubs that organize frequent fests and events, almost every month. The highlight is the annual cultural event, Recharge.
