According to me, one should not opt this college for engineering. No ROI.
Placements: Placements are pathetic. There is almost no ROI. Very few companies comes in to recruit but mostly are startup. I was lucky placed in a startup with a avg package of 5.75 lac but the exposure was not good as the company's operations were not domain specific which I studied.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Huge Campus with almost 6-7 buildings of various departments. A well maintained ground, volleyball court, indoor stadium, etc. A very big parking area. 4 different canteens with avg. Food quality and affordable. The campus is green and there is no AC in the classes. Thanks.
Faculty: Very few teachers are experienced and helpful. They are knowledgeable but not able to deliver the knowledge due to lack of experience. Teaching methods are not good. Student-faculty Ratio is very inappropriate. Sometimes they take you for industrial visit.
Other: Extra curricular activities are very much active. Frequent events quiz rounds are done. Every year there is fest organized for the students for 2-3 days where students will manage the whole fest w. r. t budget, events, invitation, hospitality etc.

Please don't waste your money.
Placements: In our batch of Automobile Engineering, nobody was placed in any core company like Maruti, Honda, Tata etc because no such company visited the campus. 3 students were placed in Infosys and 2 were placed in a CNC machine company (one was in marketing and the other was in maintenance). The story was more or less same with the senior batch. I think Infosys offered around 3LPA and the CNC machine company offered 2.5LPA. Almost everybody got internships from the college and I got an internship in IOCL R&D which was pretty awesome. Nobody got any stipend.
Infrastructure: Wi-fi is available, but it worked sporadically, Labs were substandard and they were set up in such a manner that they could only pass rigged inspections by UGC. The classrooms were just plain but spacious enough. Library wasn't good enough by university standards, as it did not have enough books. There was a medical room and I think it sufficed for usual incidences. Football, volleyball, lawn tennis, badminton, table tennis and an average gym is there. Cricket can be played on the football ground. There is a small market in the college premises and it offers pretty decent quality and selection of food. I did not live in the hostel so I can't speak about them, but they can be at best described very ordinary.
Faculty: Everything can be overlooked but not this and this is where the university fails miserably. Before us, there were many good teachers in our department. At our time, there were a few and now there is almost no good teacher left who is competent enough to teach engineering. 4 years at the university felt like an extension of school, such was the atmosphere of learning there. The curriculum in my stream is really vague, rather than becoming a jack of both trades (mechanical and automobile), we become joker of both because there aren't enough subjects of fundamental mechanical engineering and automobile engineering is more like automobile maintenance course. You learn nothing about designing and the physics involved in the design and operation of an automobile.
Other: Fees are too much, expect to pay upwards of 150k per year in tuition and 40k in transport fees. It's totally unjustified. You are better off in going to any other MDU or Kurukshetra University college, you may not get a much better education there but at least it won't burn a hole in your pocket. My father is reeling under a huge debt due to this stupid college I went to.
