No infrastructure, poor faculty, no laboratory setup. Overall no placement assistance. There was no permanent placement cell in our college. My suggestion to everyone is that do not join in this college and don’t spoil your future. It is far better to get a bachelor degree in science and try to obtain master’s degree and make a bold pillar of your future.

Nothing is good over there, college is located in remote area of Bengal apart from this there is no lab facility and practical instrument. College environment is bad and mismanagement is common, local people alongside of college is usually disturb the students.

One of the worst colleges in the Durgapur region, managing committee is worst. College is for only business and there’s no campusing. Not a single core company visited the campus for placement during the year 2014-15. Only fake companies visit the campus for placement. TCS selects less than 35 students from our college while from other colleges; TCS selects more than 100 students.

B.I.T.M is placed on a remote place of Birbhum, 10 km distance from Santiniketan. Communication is really poor. The college hostel is horrible. The faculty is average. But the main thing is that placement is almost nil. So you will not get any things from this college.

At that time no such infrastructure has been provided to the students.Also hostel facility was not available. Faculty were not that standard. Also mechanical workshop was very poor.All equipments were not available in the laboratories. Some faculties were very good and they look after the students like guardian. College canteen was very poor.Distance between hostel and college was 5 km.

If you are looking for knowledge then this college is not meant for it! Faculty is very poor, student don’t have any knowledge. Primary focus of this college is to run the shop (college) no matter what. During exams students have complete authority to cheat in open and no one can raise a finger on them. Placement is very poor. How this college received the certification from AICTE amazes me. They are all corrupted and involved, ruining the life of students.

I hoped a lot from the college but it’s completely a useless place. It hasn’t got any labs in it nor faculty members. No Infrastructure. Even the A/cs in the computer labs don't work. It's incredible t0 have 4years in here. I hope not to get entertained by their advertisement and other attracting stuffs... the facilities provided by them are null.

Only thing you get here is show-off. College is very strict about their stupid rules which are not student friendly. You rarely get a single faculty who is interested in teaching. Everyone present here is just performing their duty. That’s all I want to say. Placements are average.

It is the worst college ever that I have seen but it is good in terms of placements which they provide. If you only want the degree then you can join this college but other than that you would not expect anything from them. They are just doing money making business, faculty members are also not up to date. Campus environment is worst.

The college has poor faculty and negligible placement services. They have the collaboration with fake companies. The faculty members lack qualification and knowledge. Most of the faculty members are B.Tech pass outs. I would not recommend this college to any one.

Very bad in terms of placement & education, if you join do not expect a single company to enter in the placement session. The College is a part of a business group called "Pailan Group" which is run by an illiterate mafia. If you want to waste your future, please go ahead and join it. You will be screwed totally, I guarantee.

If you are coming for the degree then the college is ok, but if u want to learn then let me tell you faculty in mechanical are such that even the HOD is an associate professor. Faculty don't have any industrial experience and they would be able to give you a glance of the industry. For the summer training you have to manage for yourself or college will arrange it for you, which you would regret later as there is nothing to learn from there.

In Bengal college of engineering and technology Durgapur, the one best thing is that there is no ragging. Campus is good, mesh food quality is not good. The campus condition is very bad. Faculty are not very good. Finally I will never suggest anyone to take admission.

got some valid and usefull knowledge...which is helpfull now... some of the fears was driven out by our respected teachers... and motivated us to cope in any kind of environment.... activities which was not there in syllbus was also taken ..eg=trade fair,semenar, campus was excellent,with friends and faculty....... friendly environment and supportive teachers........
