A good place, but education lies beyond the infrastructure and learning provided.
Placements: No placements are provided as it is still a new course, and the only batch going for placements is currently in their 3rd year. Top roles offered I think could be that of an engineer for electrical vehicles and a Design Engineer focused on creating and testing electrical systems and components. A Power Engineer works with power generation, transmission, and distribution systems. A Control Systems Engineer develops and maintains automated systems and processes. An Electrical Project Engineer manages projects related to electrical installations and infrastructure, while an Electronics Engineer designs and develops electronic circuits, devices, and systems.
Infrastructure: The course is very nice, and the quality of the hostel and infrastructure is very good, as they maintain cleanliness. The quality of food is just average. Wi-Fi has high-speed internet access available throughout the campus, including classrooms, labs, libraries, and common areas. This facilitates research, online learning, and seamless connectivity for all the students and faculty. There are well-equipped laboratories with modern equipment and tools for practical experiments and research. The college has specialized labs for different branches of study, such as computer labs with the latest software, electronics labs with advanced instruments, and Science labs with necessary chemicals and apparatus. There are spacious and well-lit classrooms with comfortable seating arrangements.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant in both the fields of electrical and computer engineering. The passing percentage is around 60-70%. The curriculum is designed to be comprehensive and up-to-date, incorporating the latest advancements in electrical engineering. The courses are periodically reviewed and updated to align with industry standards and technological advancements. Emphasis is placed on both core electrical engineering subjects and interdisciplinary courses, making the curriculum well-rounded.
Other: I just wanted to learn both as I had an interest in both these fields. I would wish to improve the department overall for better teaching. We have quite a lot of events and fests.
